Ok so what does the “offer” mean? Not your interpretation on what it means? What does it actually mean since you apparently heard the entire conversation and know?

Dude, they have no evidence. Do you think the FBI is calling JA and FKA and turning over their investigation into Adidas to LSU officials? Even the FBI doesn't have evidence against Wade since they weren't investigating him. The NCAA has no evidence. LSU has no evidence. Yahoo has an article.

I really like this post and I basically agree. However, the fbi is not after the coaches who they are content to leave to the ncaa. The fbi is after the player reps/tennis shoe companies who are defrauding the feds/irs. There will probably be some fallout against coaches/schools who the ncaa can prove "cheating" against. I hope they have no evidence against Wade/lsu.

Assuredly the FBI is not.... but all bets are off when the criminal investigation comes to a conclusion.

So basically, even though he committed a violation, there has to be evidence, for instance, of money changing hands?

Barring revelations of strippers and escorts ala Louisville, I think we are ok. After 2 years and approx 50 programs implicated, including almost every blue blood program, the NCAA doesn't have the manpower or the will. If LSU doesn't commit hari kari, if the administration would take a low profile ala Kansas, if they would quit publicly condemning our coach and drawing national attention after every tournament win, we will probably come out unscathed.

This may have been said on here, but what if Wade is working with the FBI on that particular phone call? Just a thought.

The NCAA won't go after the blue bloods (UK, Kansas, Duke, NC) as others have pointed out. They had their shot at them and for whatever reason, they were exonerated.
Those same blue bloods will do whatever it takes to keep an LSU, Auburn, eventually TN and others down so they can continue to be........blue bloods.
As to the "tape", how much was said before or after the snippit we know of?
To me, a 'strong arse offer' could mean payments or it could mean "you will get a full education, you will play as a freshman enough to position you to go pro, and we will do whatever we can to promote you so you can".
Now, maybe I'm wrong, but that's a good lawyered up answer and who can dispute it?

Why is he discussing it with a guy everyone in college coaching knows is a bagman supplying money for players from athletic apparel companies, and how does the player's "mother get a cut" of that scholarship? The context is pretty hard to ignore.

Wrong. WW chooses not to speak about the tapes to his employer. WW is a "potential" witness for the defense. WW is not under any legal order to remain silent. WW is not in any potential legal trouble (possible NCAA rule infractions).

Hey Lou have you heard the tape???? Didn’t think so chief
Posted on 3/27/19 at 7:15 pm to EA6B
We don’t know what he was discussing, all we have are a couple of quotes taken out of context and pieced together for affect. If they had enough to nail Wade they would’ve released all of it.

Not true, he hasn’t declined to speak to his employer he’s declined to speak to the NCAA for obvious reasons.

How do you know all of this? I don't know if they do or if they don't. I happen to believe these entities (LSU, NCAA, etc) have more info/evidence that we are aware of.

What planet are you on? JA & FKing ordered WW to attend a meeting and he refused. LSU invited the NCAA to the meeting as well, however, that is none of WW's business. His employer can invite whomever they desire to whatever meeting they desire.

I’m from earth where facts are what’s measured not made up fantasies. A. You’re either ignorant or lying about the meeting parameters, Wade originally agreed to meet with LSU that first Friday morning, LSU then changed the meeting and rescheduled it so that the NCAA could be present. LSU also said Wade wouldn’t be allowed to have his lawyers at the meeting. So you’re wrong Wade had and still has every intention of meeting with his bosses they’re the ones holding this up by insisting that the NCAA be present. B. It absolutely is Wade’s business as to whether the NCAA is present or not, the FBIs case involves 47 other programs, Wade cannot give the NCAA any information about this case without altering the case and possibly damaging it beyond repair. That’s why his lawyers have advised him not to attend any meeting with the NCAA present. Getting your info from tiger rant rumors then passing them off as fact is never a good idea buddy.
