Someone explain it to me. Losing our best hitter (Dup) and the unknowns on the mound with Walker, Hilliard and maybe Hess. I see a worse outcome.

We need 2 of 3 out of Hess, dup, and Watson back. And they need to improve.

We need walker and Hilliard throwing like Friday night guys.

If Hess is back, he needs to close and Peterson moved to starter.

Cabrera is going to hit .400 with 20 homers. So that’s a start.

Have to assume pitching will be better. Maybe a few freshman look great. But I don't see it at a much better team. Hitting just won't be where it needs to be and will be another team with very little HR power.

Depends on who actually comes to campus and who bolts. Injuries are unpredictable as can be seen

Watson, Duplantis, and Hess are all 100% gone. Sanders is gone. You have Walker coming back from surgery, who knows with Hilliard. Will Josh Smith even play again?

Am extremely deep draft class. Smith comes back. One would assume that Hughes and Broussard would be better.

The catcher position is getting an upgrade.

Cabrera is going to be a beast for us.

One would assume Labas and Hilliard will improve. You hope to have Storz back mixed in with a couple of freshman who could have weekend stuff.

Digiacomo is going to be an excellent center fielder for us.

If by some miracle you return Watson, Hess and Dups then you're looking at a nucleus that shapes up like Poche, Kramer and Freeman. That spells a natty run.

The future is bright.

Legitimate pitching staff, young guys more developed, Josh Smith back, and a loaded recruiting class en route. I’m really excited about next year. Our staff might be one of the best under CPM

Exactly. We have very little hitting now and those that are adequate are leaving. Mainieri has done a shitty job replacing talent.

I’m not sold on smith. Don’t know how he’ll respond.

We have some good arms back. Just need to get everyone healthy.
