dont believe the media. Set your own bar after using your own eyes. Same shite happens every year. Time to learn lessons

OL would live up to their potential with a QB that doesn't bail too soon, doesn't hold the ball too long, and has the potential to throw the ball down field. Hard to have rushing success and balance when all defensive guys are playing near the LOS and in the box.

And knows how to avoid pressure. Daniels steps or runs directly into pressure almost every time he does try to avoid it. Dude has ZERO pocket awareness. Plus once his eyes come down to run the receivers can pretty much stop running and block...they ain't getting the ball anymore. At least with Nussmeier the ball can still be throw while under pressure.

Here are my bold takes for Jaylen.
1. He will have the most rushing yards on the team, as he is our RB against average competition.
2. He will have 2 TDs passing. 1 will be a short yard pass that either is in the redzone, or is broken by a WR for a big TD. 2nd will be a badly underthrown deep ball to a wide open man.
3. Overall Stats will look great, but the performance on the field will match what he has done for 5 years, average.

OL does not live up to its potential b/c the QB
WRs do not catch the ball b/c they do not expect to get good throws.
Its all the QB's fault.
Unless its the second string QB, of course.
We have a QB with lifetime stats of 7 TDs, 6 ints and he is plainly an All American.

i just hope he can keep up with our garbage defense

if JD could add a more effective passing game to his running skills, we could make a run at the championship, even with all the warts on this team.
Good lord, man, have you seen our defense?
Yes, I'd like JD to stretch the field more often, but he's generally effective and is not the main issue with this team.

JD will never sniff a Heisman. I've watched him going on 5 years and he is the same as he was as a freshman. 17 passing TDs is his ceiling.

its a fricking observation that playing at miss. st at 11am typically doesnt lead to heisman performances.

It was going to be 11am regardless, is everyone that plays Miss State automatically disqualified?

Have you seen Caleb Williams play at all? Barring injury, the race is already over. He is the best player in college football without a doubt.
