I think we do. They are the better team on this side of the losers bracket. Arkansas has the pitching staff, lineup and bullpen to do it. But baseball is a chess game at this point.

I get it, but honestly there is a hair’s difference between these 2 teams. At some point odds catch with you. Not scared to play them but the path will be easier if we don’t.

Not in the losers’ bracket. If we beat UCLA, then yes, but if we lose to UCLA we will play Arkansas (assuming they beat Murray State) with each of us having played two games. Plus, they could conceivably use Root, although one day of rest after 38 pitches isn’t a good setup for a long start.

The luckiest teams in college baseball are the teams that did not have to play LSU. Right now, a poll of unbiased college football analysts and fans would easily see LSU voted as the top team.
