i agree.

CB will be shallow but barring injury it’s still an above average group. Just have to stay healthy, Fulton being eligible and ready to play would be a nice suprise.

KT returning would've been big. some mocks had him as the #1 cb next year. cant fault a guy for wanting to make life changing money.
i think we have the outside covered but im worried about the nickle and dimeback. it takes someone with really fluid hips to play inside cb. in todays cfb landscape just having 2 decent cbs isnt enough. teams recognize things like that and can eat up a subpar nickle. i have faith in our staff to get it done though.
our front 7 should help our secondary out a lot this year

LSU is the king of off-season talk. I hear it year after year.

This isn't the early to mid 2000s. I'll wait and see before I buy in.

DE: Fehoko
NT: Alexander
DE: Lawrence

Probably Miami, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Bama and one other team that really shouldn't.

The defense is not, and never has been, the concern about this team and/or program.

We were pretty thin on defensive line earlier in the season last year and it cost us in a big way.

That's fair and I agree.

The only thing we know is Fehoko was a top 50 4* recruit in a really good DT class back in 2015 (he was ranked 8th directly behind Da'Ron Payne and Christian Wilkins). He started in both of his two seasons at TTU and was their highest rated recruit in 2015.

Now...the TTU folks say he was overrated and didn't really do anything to help their defense or put up good numbers. Maybe they are right. Maybe that is just sour grapes. Maybe NOTHING can help the annually shitty TTU defense. Maybe with two even more highly recruited players than him next to him he can thrive by not being the focal point of the OL?

The question is whether or not the offense can put points on the board and if the HC can get out of his own way.

Question every LSU fan has asked 9 out of the last 10 years!

With the defensive line and linebackers, we should be great on defense.

Two young, talented quarterbacks, a young offensive line that will be the strong point on offense next year, the best wr class in the nation coming....man we should win the west with all that talent or at least win 10 games. No excuse not to

We have so much young talent that played last year. Coupled with this dynamic, underrated class we have coming in, we are loaded.

Valentine was:

un-interested in class
un-inspired to work hard
un-able to get in shape
and
un-interested in listening to the coaching staff

Come on man. This class is criminally underrated. So much young talent that got experience and so much talent coming in....no reason we don't win at least 10 games. We have the best receivers in America coming, a loaded front 7, coach O is gonna lead this loaded team to greatness. Talent is not a liability

The 19th rated recruit out of 22 players was selected 1st team all-state 6A in Florida. Laugh at that for a while.

You can wait if you want since you don't seem to realize that he has already started 25 games on a college football team.

Before you try to downplay with this: he was also an academic all conference student at Tech.
