also unblockable per coaches and team mates. Let’s wait until fehoko plays before crowning him
I remember Valentine being "unblock able" at the UA game vs HS kids. He did get some accolades in a few drills at LSU, but he was known for being lazy academically (clearinghouse and issues after going to LSU), lazy physically (gassed during games) and lazy mentally as well as not listening to coaches.

Orgeron and defensive line coach Pete Jenkins butted heads with Valentine over his work ethic and attitude during his time in the program. Orgeron and Jenkins pride themselves and their linemen on coming to work hard everyday, something Valentine struggled with.

So I don't see much if any of a reasonable comparison between the two unless you have some knowledge of Fehoko that I don't. By everything I've read, Fehoko is the anti-Valentine. Not saying I know Fehoko will be the next great, but your choice of comparison was a poor one.

Where have we heard that before? Unstoppable in practice .......

It's gonna be interesting to see how he adjusts to playing SEC teams vs the spread pass happy teams in the Big 12. I think he will be fine, but we are just going to have to wait to see.

The defense is not, and never has been, the concern about this team and/or program
even tho I agree I noticed they cost us a couple of games last year. they failed to hold the lead against notre dame also. I think this year they will be better.

They will be stought AF
I think they will be stout. like the beer.

The question is whether or not the offense can put points on the board
absolutely 100% correct.

if the HC can get out of his own way.
that is always true. that has also been said about every fricking HC in America that has ever lost a football game.

Unless LSU runs a spread pass happy offense in practice, I will take Dave Aranda and Pete Jenkins' word on him over speculation by EXPERTS on a message board.

Yeah, there is going to be a lot of crow-eating this upcoming year. Plus, you Einstein's will have to make up for all the other crows you guys never ate last year when all you Einsteins were saying in that major meltdown after the Troy State loss, which was really Les Miles' fault, that O wouldn't win more than 4 games and then he hauled off and went 6 & 1 for the remainder of the regular season. So all you Einsteins will have to eat at least twice as much crow this year. So I hope all you Einstein's go on a diet so you won't get too damn fat.

I'm just in wait and see mode right now for this team Ree. I don't want to make any bold proclamations either way.
There's some inexperience and some new players by transfer and let's just see how they handle the games in an LSU uniform.
That's all I'm saying really. There are certainly some reasons for optimism and skepticism as well. We won't know for sure until September.

LSU is the king of off-season talk. I hear it year after year.
During the intrasquad game last year at the open date. The team Fehoko was on was winning like 35 nothing at the half because the other team couldn't stop Fehoko. He was a one-man wrecking crew.
After the half, the other team decided to triple team him for the remainder of the game and then Dee Anderson went crazy and caught a bunch of passes and made a lot of touchdowns. Anyway, the final score was like 36 to 35 with the other team coming back to steal victory at the end.

Except he has a track record:
Going off that film it is a very EXCELLENT track record. The dude is like running into a brick wall except he is coming at you and you GO BACKWARDS. The diving interception was impressive for a guy that big.
BUT let's be realistic here, the EXPERT opinion on this board overrules any film or actual events that have happened or will happen on the field. Sorry man.

I'm pretty sure Kris Fulton will be eligible this season. He comes from a good family and he wouldn't be making all those Twitters and Instagrams if he were doing the same thing he was doing last year unless he is just retarded.
So I'm thinking it will be Kris Fulton at the open corner spot with Jontre Kirkland backing him up. Then either Kary Vincent or Kelvin Joseph at the nickel back. We should be alright.
Fulton was like the number 3 CB in the nation and the number one rated Louisiana recruit when he signed up at LSU

We have so much young talent that played last year. Coupled with this dynamic, underrated class we have coming in, we are loaded.
Thanks, coach O. You're doing a pretty good job, unlike the last head coach we had.

Valentine was unblockable b4 his big arse got tired
Posted on 3/1/18 at 7:57 pm to RickyDonSkaggs
We may not win Ga. or Bama game but I don't think that eitiher of them control our Dline.
Posted on 3/1/18 at 8:04 pm to GermantownTiger
Hopefully they can give MiamiU fits and disrupt their game. I believe the OLine will be better and CAN provide the protection needed to beat MiamiU 's D.
Posted on 3/1/18 at 8:18 pm to BayouCowboy
So they should b classified as seniors
Posted on 3/1/18 at 8:20 pm to GermantownTiger
Don't t carried away, they haven't done anything yet, but both Lawrence and Alexander have tremendous potential. Fehoko is a player with potential to that was just steady at Texas Tech, I just like the depth that they have, a shite load of good players.

Careful. Some of these guys don't like when you question their ability to accurately predict the future.
