Hey come on man. I'm just trying to be positive. I was a little too critical of coach bc of the sting of signing day, but after letting my perspective settle a bit, it's a good class and we played so many young guys last year, how can you not be excited about this season??

Orgeron can win big if we all get behind him and support him. Let's change the vibe around our football program!!

I don't see the value in being so negative. I understand you're hurting bc you've lost some battles in your life, but don't lose hope in Coach O.

Not hurting at all. I'm just being s smart arse because I don't agree with the "hope and pray" approach.

He has a chance to do well this year, but only he has control over that. He's got everything he wanted, so if he doesn't get it done for some reason, there will be no excuses. I'm gonna be pulling for him to succeed.

If the front 7 gets quick pressure you can get away with ?'s in the secondary. I'd rather have both be phenomenal but a great d-line can solve a lot of db troubles.

Going to need all the help available next year in the DL. Have to shut down the run and get more pressure than we have in years.
DBU is short of players right now. If Fulton is out, LSU gets one injury at the corner and we are done.

Congratulations. A complete 180 degree turn around. I'm proud of you. It must be from reading the recruiting board.

Yeah, there is going to be a lot of crow-eating this upcoming year.

miles was one of the most accomplished coaches in lsu history and you say he was a shite coach yet youre crowing O after 1 season?

quote:

will have to make up for all the other crows you guys never ate last year when all you Einsteins were saying in that major meltdown after the Troy State loss, which was really Les Miles' fault,

you mean the great Ed Orgeron couldn't coach up 4 star 2nd team players tp beat a team without a single 4 star recruit?

quote:

that O wouldn't win more than 4 games and then he hauled off and went 6 & 1 for the remainder of the regular season

Losses from the teams we played after troy

Florida- 7 losses & under .500 in sec
Auburn- 4 losses( good win)
ole miss- 6 losses & under .500 in sec
Bama- 1 we were never a threat
arkansas- 8 losses & 1-7 in sec play
Tenn- 8 losses & 0-8 in sec play
a&m- 6 losses & .500 in sec play

quote:

. So I hope all you Einstein's go on a diet so you won't get too damn fat.

did you eat crow when miles was the coach for unprecedented lsu success?

if our objective is to recruit at the same level as the current east champ, west champ, and bama, it wasnt a good class.
im not saying it was bad.
but i readily admit that m the label of ," good class" is subjective.

because O just had the easiest schedule we have had or will have in the near future, returning senior qb, returning all sec rb,the highest paid coordinators in cfb,and a roster of 52 4 and 5 star recruits AND HE STILL LOST 4 GAMES.

im excited to see that beast of a defense.

This class is criminally underrated.

huh?

LSU class:12 players ranked outside the top 20 at their position

Bama class: 3 players ranked outside the top 20 at their position

The class is rated correctly in my opinion.

Lawrence is very good, but he has not shown greatness yet. Maybe this year he will. Alexander has shown a lack of conditioning. Maybe he’ll mature this year. And maybe Fehoko will be the guy who breaks the tradition of much-ballyhooed ineligibles disappointing us.

Maybe, maybe and maybe. The only certainty is that they are only three guys. And we need about seven to man those three positions - six to rotate and a seventh to substitute for the one who will inevitably be injured, fail out, or fail drug tests.

I’m happy about the possibilities, but they remain just that.
