what is everyone thinking? Do you honestly expect the coaches to be more liberal with their play calling when they face top notch SEC opposition?

hell no, they are going to be completely conservative. What we see now with Shep is what we will see the rest of the year I am afraid.

what about a read option with trindon or KW in the backfield? or just a straight up option. Or line him up at receiver and motion him to the backfield. something???

Shep's rushing average isn't bad by any means so far this season.

Still plenty of time to run the option.

OMG, it's game 3 and our freshman hasn't run this one play that I've been wanting to see.

what value, except impressing a few, does shep running the wildcat right now have?

how about learn some blocking assignments?

how about run the backfield that produces chuck and keiland with chuck at FB

how about build some confidence with your qb

Haven't done much with him so far, but we've only played 3 games. Give them time.

so you're happy with us running shep up the middle everytime he's in the game?

When he has 23 yards on 4 carries yea Im pretty fricking fine with it.. Unless you want to argue that 6 yards per carry is a bad thing...

look, if you arent going to break Shep in against a team like this, then its likely he wont be used any more than this the rest of the season when we'll likely need him

the way we cant move the ball consistently on offense.....its just disappointing

1. Shouldn't we be breaking in our starting QB more than our backup QB?
2. When will we likely need him? Is Shep even our #2 QB? Nope...

And, as I type this, JJ goes down.

Look - I'm frustrated as hell right now, BUT if Shep were to go down to an injury (especially with his scrambling style) I'd be completely miserable right now.

thats my Les thinking of the night
