re: Here is an example of the disrespect Reese talks about

Your original point was this:
When Reese got her 10th rebound in the 4th, I didn't catch where they mentioned she set a season record.
Are you fricking retarded?
This is literally the FIRST part of my post:

First, sorry about yet another thread on the topic, but I think this ESPN article shows exactly what's happening:
quote:
Bidens clarify national champ LSU's White House invitation
(blah, blah, blah...)
Clark set the record for points scored in an NCAA tournament with 191 in six games.
(blah, blah, blah...)
LINK
Setting aside the question of why the loser would get an invite for the first time ever, why is Clark's record setting achievement mentioned, but not Reese's achievement of setting the all-time Women's NCAA basketball record for double-doubles in a season?
IN THE ARTICLE LINKED.
I'M SORRY I EVEN MENTIONED THE GAME AT ALL. WHY DOESN'T THE ARTICLE MENTION REESE'S RECORD?
Is that a little more clear?

This is pathetic. You should feel bad.
Why doesn't the article linked mention Reese's record?

You stated in your OP:
quote:
When Clark hit the 3 in the first half, we were told on-air she just set the scoring record in the tourney. When Reese got her 10th rebound in the 4th, I didn't catch where they mentioned she set a season record. Why not? Why is one record lauded, and the other isn't?
Other posters then showed you EXACTLY when and where in the broadcast is was mentioned.
Now you're changing your argument to bitch about it not being mentioned in an article discussing the bozo first lady's comments about wanting to invite Iowa to the White House?
Just accept the fact that you missed where Reese's record was mentioned in the broadcast instead of trying to ridiculously change your position that you are now mad it wasn't mentioned in the article.

So, no one wants to actually address the article linked, and why they left Reese's record out
quote:
Reese -- the Final Four's Most Outstanding Player -- has gotten a lot of attention on social media during the past 24 hours, ever since she waved her hand in front of her face while staring down Iowa star Caitlin Clark in the final moments of LSU's win, then pointed toward her finger as if to say a ring was coming.
Clark set the record for points scored in an NCAA tournament with 191 in six games. If she saw Reese's gestures, Clark didn't seem concerned about them.
They mentioned Reese was "-- the Final Four's Most Outstanding Player --" and they mentioned Clark set a record for points scored in an NCAA tournament. They did not mention season records for either.
What's the problem?

So because Reece felt slighted by all of those items she figured the best way to handle it was to personally try to demean Clark. Got it. Clark showed class by taking up for Reece but that changes nothing about the way Reece acted. Especially with the race crap and the "looks like me crap". I agree that LSU and Reece got slighted nationally but that is more representative of a left wing liberal media that didn't like Mulkey than any race bias. Kind of like what the NCAA did towards Wade. Again I'll be clear. If Reece did that during the game but not aimed at one particular player nothing would have been said and if it was EVERYONE including me would have her back. That was not the case but since Clark has taken up for her let's move on. Hopefully it's a teaching moment for both.

The Biden administration invited Iowa because they see it as another chance to divide the country and cause racial tensions. That’s it. They’re playing chess

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you a person who represents a large contingent of our LSU fans. I simply refer to them as…. The Victims.

Not really.
More about pandering to the Iowa Caucuses in 2024

What? The media are who come up with the rankings.

This post was supposed to make some kind of point, and that point was non existent.
Angel Reese's record was IMMEDIATELY mentioned as soon as she brought down the rebound. The Biden's wanting to invite the losing team isn't even in the top 10,000 worst things they've done, and now we're supposed to believe that was over the line, but not all of the other things?
Quit the white knighting.

Man, we are Champions. Why do you guys constantly bring up negatives. Is it in your DNA?
Records are for record books. Caitlin has hers, Reese has hers and her Ring, and LSU has the Championship trophy.
What a year for LSU.
We are in contention for both Baseball and Football and we are bitching still.
Its the best of times for LSU sports.

Honestly, this stand-alone sentence was the dumbest thing about the article.
Because that was important to reiterate in an article about a White House invitation. At least they respected Angel enough to capitalize "Black".
