Help with directions please!!

My family is coming to Baton Rouge for the A&M game next weekend. I’m looking for advice on the best route post game leaving Lot 414 traveling back to Lafayette? From Lot 414, according to the LSU website, I’ll only be able to travel South on River Rd.. Looking for advice on the best route starting off heading that direction. Thanks

You don't need to know anything. You're only going to be able to go the way you're going to be funneled into. You have no choice but to go where the police are guiding you for a good way until you're away from the campus and stadium area. Just follow the flow of traffic like trout. Eventually, you'll be able to turn off. Then just use your GPS to get you back to Lafayette.

Probably just ride it south until you get around the Casino then hit bluebonnet back to I-10

Honestly you’ll regret not having a parking pass on the northwest side of campus. Very easy to get out if Lafayette is your destination.

Sell your parking pass and buy a different lot.

Brightside to Lee to I-10 if it's open (haven't been that way after a game)
If not, it gets a little harder; Bluebonnet does not connect directly with River Road. You would have to take Gardere to Burbank to Bluebonnet to I-10.
Of course, all that is contingent on which roads they have blocked. Expect slow going.

I've been leaving in the middle of 2nd quarter and don't have a problem with traffic.

The best route is to leave right before half like everybody else does at Tiger Stadium. That’s what they did the last time we played we atm.

That far south you might want to take the sunshine bridge to Donaldsonviole and LA1 to I-10. The traffic that way is horrible.

Sure did empty out quickly in the 3rd tho. frick BK but best thing that could’ve happened to our program right then and there

Based on the parking map, lot 414 is funneled out to River Road and contraflowed south. He can hang a left on Gourrier but it contraflows all the way to the lakes. Will be a cluster to get back to Laffy.

Don’t park in 414. Arrive before noon, pay $40 to park in one of the business lots on Nicholson north of campus. When you leave, you will be directed north, straight back to i10 west.

You’ll want to go north on River Rd from 414. I was there for the Clemson game and was staying at my daughter’s condo south of campus. They were letting a few cars go south but then the woman cop would not, even with me pleading with her, let me go south. So I had to go all the way through downtown and back to College then west to Nicholson. But Lee was blocked for another half hour for contraflow. Absolute nightmare.
But if they let them go north like most in 414 were forced to, they can take that to I-10 West with very little issue.
