Help my school become more like Tiger Stadium

Hey everyone, I'm new to the board. I'm a Baton Rouge native and am finishing my undergrad work at the University of Utah and will be at LSU next fall for grad school.
I have a friend on the board of our student section and they're looking to up the atmosphere and school spirit at Ute games as we make our debut in the Pac-12. This friend called me right after their meeting looking for me to give advice on how schools like LSU get the atmosphere and passion that they do. Yep, LSU was specifically named as a model, which I feel makes it appropriate to post in this forum.
They are already looking into something like late night pep rallies, a la Texas A&M's Midnight Yell.
So how does LSU do it? Is it possible for the atmosphere of Death Valley Tiger Stadium to be recreated, although admittedly on a much smaller scale, elsewhere? What are some steps we can take to make improvements?
Thanks a lot.

Can you drink in Utah?
That's step #1

#1- start drinking now for your home opener
#2 - vomit
#3 - repeat steps 1 and two until the game is over

i dont think the good Mormons of Utah drink enough to get close to tiger stadium. drunk coon asses make the best college football fans. (except the old ones who leave at half time)

I'd like to add that you need a band as good as ours AND a Coach like ours!

You can't duplicate legend. It just happens.

Utah being like LSU would be like Satan sniffing puppies and giggling.
If there was a Satan...
If there was a Satan...

That's absolutely true. I never expected Utah to become comparable to Tiger Stadium but at this point any improvement would be welcomed.
As for the drinking comments, that's a given. Of course drinking goes on at our tailgates but the existence of a board as popular as this shows that there is passion for LSU football even without alcohol.

I honestly think the biggest contributor to our atmosphere are the people themselves. Louisiana is just full of friendly, know-how-to-party people!
