Sounds like we need a Biletnikoff Award as well...

Desmond Howard edged out Peyton Manning for the coveted Heisman but their NFL career stats corrects the voters error. If you compare the NFL stats Howard pales in comparison to Manning and will never make the HOF. Jayden Daniels is the best College football player in the country that is a statistical fact.

Wrong Michigan player. It was Charles Woodson, and he had a pretty good NFL career (1st ballot hall of famer). Also, the Heisman is a college award and NFL career means nothing.

I hate to say it, but it's absolutely true: If Oregon beats Washington in a rematch and sneaks into the playoffs, there is no chance Nix will not win the Heisman

It has to help that JD is doing all of this against the defenses that made Bo Nix look like a JV QB!

The fact that we are discussing Bo Nix as a Heisman candidate is just laughable!

JD5 is getting a much needed push after this weekend. Seeing a lot more chatter about him today all over social media. People are finally taking notice.

I'm convinced either of those teams could win with Daniels.
I don't believe either, Nix nor Penix, could have led us to a winning season.

We got to see Nix play in the SECW and it wasn't pretty

The recird argument is stupid. Its for the best player in the country which those stats indicate Daniels is putting up the best or equal numbers against better competition

The rushing yards will put JD on top. Gotta dominate A&M which he will do

Daniels will have a great chance to get some more separation on numbers this week against Georgia State.

I believe, if JD5 stays within a few hundred yards of Penix, and also breaks 1,000 yards rushing it should be given to JD5 hands down.
I'm not very hopeful of the SEC helping push his case though.
So, fingers crossed.

The rushing just seals the deal when you compare Nix/Penix.

Hope Jayden doesn't get screwed over like Jerry Stovall did back in '62.
