This stat alone puts JD on another level from the competition, im sorry

I think he needs to get to 1000 yards on the season to seal the deal. It's silly but it is one of those psychological numbers. If he somehow got to 1200 that would have him averaging 100 a game which is insane given his passing numbers. It's not out of the question if there are some designed runs against GA State

Passing Yards Per Attempt is likely an even stronger case for Jayden.

makes what Johnny Manziel did so impressive...over 1400 yards running and 21 rushing TD's his Heisman year, to go with over 3700 yards passing and 26 touchdown passes.

Only one of those QBs has an efficiency rating higher than their backup.

Kinda indicates that the other two or more of a product of their system instead of being the system

Put this in a bit of perspective. Daniels has more rushing yards than all but 26 RUNNING BACKS in the country. And the only reason he isn't higher on that list is because he spends around 60% to 70% of his time throwing the football. Daniels leads the NCAA in rushing yards per carry. And he is .60 yards per carry better than #2 on that list.

In 2016 Lamar Jackson had (in 12 games):

3,390 passing yards
1,538 rushing yards
30 passing TDs
21 rushing TDs
51 total TDs

He had 257 more 1st place votes than #2 Deshaun Watson...who was the QB of eventual NC, Clemson.

And finally, Daniels passing efficiency rating, right now, is slightly higher than Burrow's in 2019 (which includes his ridiculous post season performance).

If Daniels was being judged SOLELY as a passer he would have a case for the Heisman. And that does not include the fact he will be a 1,000 yard rusher!

Keep in mind, that includes the bowl game vs. Oklahoma where he passed for 287 (2 TDs) and ran for 229 (2 TDs)

Back those numbers out, and it is likely Daniels throws for more in 12 games than Manziel did in 13 games. Daniels may reach/exceed Manziel's 12 games total rushing yards. Daniels will likely exceed Manziels 12 games total TD amount
