Hard to disagree. Still, it's sort of weird seeing him running his mouth against the guy, given the authority he has over his kid.

Funny thing is right before that he said "Im not gonna take a cheap shot at Miles like the rest of the LSU fans have been this week"

Taking shots at the coach doesn't go over well especially when your son hasn't blocked anyone all year

On Monday, when the matter of the spike came up on WWL, Bobby said that everybody could see "the universal signal for a spike." He wasn't buying Les's bullshite. And then Bobby exhorted Les to just "man up and admit you made a mistake."

This from a father of one of the players, and from LSU's most influential radio station.

It's not a shot if it's true.

Why does that make him a POS?

EVERY other sports reporter/analyst has said the exact same thing.

I find it pretty damn funny

Bobby's in a tough spot there. I applaud him for being professional and speaking the truth.

Yup but if Miles is a big enough piece of shite to take it out on his T-bob for what his father said....

I think this comment is especially funny given the fact that Payton called that reverse with Bush tossing the ball over the other guy/receiver's head against the Bucs a few years back when all they had to do was run it up the middle to ice the game.

This year - Hebert's statement is correct, but Payton has CERTAINLY been outcoached in the past.

Bobby is the anti-Golic. He's got a job to do. Had strong opinions about LSU prior to T-Bob. Same can be said for Golic and ND prior to his two sons signing wit ND. Know it's local vs. national. Still, I think he's doing what he's paid to do.

How quickly we forget,

Payton made some bone headed moves last year.

Slam away, the bullseye is on Miles.

This. He has a job to do and shouldn't let his personal situation get in the way.

Well maybe it will all work out for the best and Miles will bench his son.

He was spot on, though.

Payton has lost to many silly challenges too.Every coach gets out coached.
