That’s passer rating not QBR. their QBR (which I find to be a more reliable stat) is actually quite similar. So we’ll see how time goes on

The talent is definitely there. You can see it. Both of his deep balls against Clemson were money.
Unfortunately, the stats and film don’t always match the talent. Beyond his abysmal deep throat to Brown Saturday night, he also missed multiple reads that could have resulted in touchdowns.

Nuss has shown nothing to indicate he is the best QB in the country. Need to see more
Going 11 for 11 at the end of the game away at Clemson but pretty elite. Hard to say he’s shown nothing with the NFL has a 1st round grade on him.

Nussmeier is nowhere near the best QB in college football. We are lucky we only finished with 3 losses last year. USCe and Ole Miss were easy losses because of his antics. And based on what he’s shown this year, he has not improved at all.
Clemson game was fool’s gold. They’re not good. Nuss will be massively exposed in SEC play.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Not so far this season. He has not been sharp, not what I expected.
Let's see how it goes as the season goes on. Hopefully he destroys Florida's world

Heisman buzz QB that have had lackluster performances so far:
Klubnik - struggled 2 games
Allar - completed barely over 50% vs Florida International
Sellers - 11/19 for 128 yards vs South Carolina St
Lagway - was supposed to take a big leap this season
This is not to say that Nuss doesn't need to show more. He absolutely does. It's just been a weird start to the season for a lot of these top guys.

Crazy
Very solid yesr for SEC QBs. He’s prob 6-7th after a few weeks. Much less best nationally

I think the over hyping is a product of today's social media climate, sensationalize to get "likes," and one good game and you get the anointing oil, you see the same thing on this board, we beat Clempson and this is going to be another 2019, we barely show up for Tech and we're back to the Hallman days

Yeah tell us how good Lanoris Sellers is

He needs to start hitting some of these deep shots

SCar had less than 100yds of offense the 1st half vs South Carolina St (South Carolina's version of Grambling). Their 2 TDs the 1st half came on a punt return and blocked punt/return. They scored on a fumble return as well. They ultimately finished with 253 yds of offense and got outgained.
The score did not reflect that game at all.

Nuss will not be the number one pick in the draft.

“Very solid year for SEC QBs”
Who are you talking about? Mateer & Taylen Green?
Nuss is the best QB in the SEC by far & one of the best in the country

Let's not sugarcoat it, he needs to make better throws than he did in the LA Tech game. I think he'll continue to get better as the season goes on, but I'm not ready to anoint him yet.
He looks to be waiting for the deeper routes as opposed to the shorter pass as he works through the progressions. On some plays, he seemed to have his mind made up and was going deep no matter what the defense is giving him. At Clemson, the ball was out in an average of 2.14 seconds, LA Tech was supposedly 2.2, though he did give up 3 sacks. Not much changed between games except slightly less accurate. I don’t think Chester’s play made a significant difference.
That said, I was a lineman and couldn’t throw an accurate spiral worth a shite.

It's 2 games, no one. A college football season is a pressure cooker that either brings out the best or worst in quarterbacks. We'll find out a lot about Nussmeir over the next few months, but my inclination is that he will do well.
