quote:go check NFL rosters for where QBs went to college then report back.
Then why’d he go to asu
JD might suck but at least bring a good argument.

We have any high school teams scheduled?

Best case scenario:
He's the QB we saw in his Freshman year at ASU and the silliness of the Pac 12's handling of football during 2020 coupled with what appears to be an overall downward trend of the ASU program were the driving factors behind his regression from the 2019 season.
Worst case scenario:
2019 was the aberration, and once there was a "scouting report" out on him, teams, in a "lesser" conference were easily able to figure out how to limit him to being just an average QB...something that doesn't bode well in a much more competitive conference.
As in most things in life, the answer probably lies somewhere in the middle

I hope you are right. He will need to use the offensive weapons. If he does then we will win 9 or 10 games.

I was watching some practice footage this morning while drinking my coffee. They were working on zone read, and when he pulled and took off it's special. We've got two qb's that can play, and during a season you'll need both at some point.

I’m excited to watch him go
He has weapons around him unlike anything he ever had.
He can thrive
Let’s go!

So this awesome prospect went to ASU. Math checks out...
Look, I hope you are correct but outside of JB this football program is mostly a QB wasteland. Forgive us for being a tad skeptical.

So, to be clear, he and the team sucked because they lost one WR? In the PAC-12? I hope you're right.

Until about a month back, I had no idea how highly he was ranked coming out of high school. Maybe he can live up that here.

This is ignorance. Daniels had offers essentially everywhere in the country.

Yeah this post is dumb. MB had 15028 yards and had 188 total tds lol...
Ok. And Daniel’s had 17500 and 211
What’s your point?

Bama, Georgia, UCLA, Florida, FSU, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon, USC, and A&M all offered him.
247 had him as the 35th best player in the nation. ESPN had him at 44th,and Rivals at 57th.

This dudes been in college for 3 years and we're doing high school stats?
You should look up the Dez Duron kid from Evangel a few years back that was hitting like 5k yards a year.
Yeah he was 5'9" 160lbs, you should see his high school stats though....
