Well, his shitty resume kinda did that on its own. Couple that with the Canada fiasco. Losing to state and Troy, the shitty bowl game, and a below our standards recruiting class, and it's not exactly an unfair statement.

I can assure you that Miami is a hell of a lot better team than that BYU squad. their defense is legit. so are their WR's and their QB can run. they have a questionable OL (like us) and their QB is inaccurate as shite as well as their punter.
but, as some have said, it's one game against a tough ball club and it was the first game of the year. I draw few conclusions based on that game but am glad (and relieved) that we won. no more or no less.

, a handful of people, at best, said it was the worst decision LSU has ever made, unless you're lumping all of those who were critical into one group.

What did you think about that BYU squad before last season started? You do know that was their worst team in over 10 years, right? And winning percentage wise, that was their worst team since 1970.
I'm not saying that Miami will have a season this year, like BYU had last year. But I wouldn't be surprised if Miami has a down year. Last year they won 10 games, but if I remember correctly, 2 or 3 games were won very late in the game, and were decided by either an amazing play by Miami, or a boneheaded play by the other team.
And all I said in my first post was we beat a team to start the season, then played lousy football and shite the bed twice before the month of September was over.

Am I missing something? Did we win the SEC last night? Because that’s the only way I’m going to ever say the Orgeron hire was a decent hire. Otherwise he is just doing what Les Miles was already doing and if that’s good enough, then why did we fire Miles?

IMO this was the biggest win of his career, and we can no longer say "he hasn't beaten anyone with a defense". True haters will say Miami is overrated, and they certainly are. However, their defense is legit and Gerald Willis was a freak last night. We put up 33 on em and it should've been worse. Kudos to O for getting this team ready to play

Not yet. If LSU manages to go 9-3 (or better) this season and wins their bowl game, he may begin to convince me.
