Lets start posting pictures of the houses, cars, money, etc.. these players (recruits) and their families suddenly fall into when they sign with the Dukes, Kentucys and North Carolines..

The neighborhood being mentioned is Colvard Farms in Durham. I looked up their website and the homes start at $950,000. Also Zions brother is enrolled in private school(Triangle Day school). Either the Williamson's struck oil in Spartanburg,SC or something fishy is going on. You be the judge.

Good point. However, what are your thoughts on the Kansas assistant talking about Williamson's father's demands with Dawkins. 100k cash, lucrative job, a house for the family. Saying he will get it done. All while putting that in the context of Duke being a surprise choice after running third to Clemson and Kansas. You mean to tell me you think that he chose Duke for free? BS.

Well it was Merl Code telling the Kansas assistant that was a demand. I don’t think the Kansas assistant said too much incriminating stuff in response although he seems to consider it a feasible grassroots demand.
It was also a recorded call from before the scandal going public last year. Zion’s recruitment was surprising because he was expected to go to Clemson and his crystal balls changed around more than almost anyone’s besides Kevon Looney. However the one bit of comfort I get from the situation is that the commitment happened after the scandal was made public and the indictments were handed down on Code, Gatto, the assistants, etc. It really would shock me if any changes occurred from November of last year (the early signing period) and Zion’s decision.
Look, if you put a gun to my head and asked me if Zion received money from someone in the past 12 months and it had an influence on his college choice, I would say yes. But Duke also doesn’t have Josh Selby and Cliff Alexander as recent negative recruiting weapons.
Also to the other poster, Zion attended a private school his entire time in high school, I believe.

Clemson was the absolute favorite with Kansas nipping at the bud. Somehow, in the he last minutes we are told, he chose Duke. And, for FREE!!!
