Title IX scandal and the Les Miles, Ed Orgeron, Guice, Davis, thirty days suspensions, etc.
Will Wade and the issues surrounding investigations of his recruiting;
Paul Mainieri and LSU baseball;
WBB and at least six players in transfer portal;
Football program on heels of 5-5 season and worst defense since the French response to German advances in WW II.
Woodward is not impressing me on his handling of these messes, although he inherited much of it.

How could he have impressed you, nitwit?

You obviously are younger than 40. Read “Crazy Days at LSU” or the Bob Broadhead book “Sacked”.

For 9250 posts you have learned much about the RANT.
There is always turmoil, real or imagined, on The Rant.

the replies to the OP's post are "shooting the messenger."

Sure, the athletic program has had turmoil before, but it's hard to argue that there's A LOT going on right now, in multiple sports.

There’s certainly turmoil. But it’s not the most ever, which is the basis of your OP.

Better question is: Why would he care to impress him?

Not good

Also not good, but LSU has been here before

Disappointing start, but certainly no "turmoil"

who cares?

The first non-winning season in TWENTY YEARS two years removed from one of the greatest seasons in CFB history. Again, disappointing, but no "turmoil"

Bob Brodhead was hired in '81 to fix the financial mess Paul Dietzel created. LSU's football HC was a defacto last minute fill in because the guy they hired in '80 died before he ever coached a game. In '81 the football team was 3-7-1. They rebounded to have a good year in '82...only to go winless in SEC play in '83. Dale Brown was perpetually fighting with the NCAA. In 85-86 despite on field/court success, the NCAA was snooping around Brown, Broadhead was strung up on ethics charges and eventually resigned after pleading guilty to federal charges of trying illegally record NCAA investigators.

There is turmoil, but certainly not the "most ever"

This thread will be downvoted to hell although it’s on point

I made a similar thread and was insulted from every direction despite being objective about the state of affairs at LSU
