I’d be flattered that someone wanted to where my old number. And, LSU has a tradition of issuing numbers to certain players who display the potential to be great and or team leaders. What’s the big deal brother? They been playing football since the late eighteenth hundreds, I’m sure there have been many number 5’s during those years. Sadly, maybe number 5, might have to go to the biggest prima donna from now on.

It’s not that big of a deal. If LSU just ignores it, this will go away. Getting all bent out of shape about it isn’t going to rectify the situation. If you really want to repair the bridge, you need to get in touch with Jayden, not his mom.
Otherwise, I’m still trying to see why the outrage is at a peak on this board. Let him do what he wants. frick it. Lane and Co just need to focus on this season.

IMO absolutely not. JD5 is getting bad management from his "Team / Mom ".
I think by the statement he made yesterday that he is trying to find a way out of this but he is too weak to face up with his mom and tell her to stop. We saw it when he was here that he was a mammas boy. I don't think he is a bad person or selfish or any other tag someone will put on him. He never showed any hint of being like that. I think his issue is he won't stand up to his mom, she is driving this. What he may not realize or maybe has by now is that he is doing serious damage to his character by letting this continue. LSU doesn't even have to say anything. The national media is defending LSU.
Ryan Clark is a piece of shite, I dont think Daniels is.
