His resume means nothing if the coach rips it up and throws it away.

I can see Cam saying this if the kid was throwing on the side with another player. Could be a method to help develop arm strength.

I doubt if that was Cam's advice in every passing situation in a game.

Cam was telling him to throw hard to gauge his ball velocity. Cam was evaluating him.

I didn't hear Harvey this morning, but there is a video from the Elite camp last this summer and Cam was telling Feliepe Franks the same thing. However, during that drill he was throwing at a stationary target.

Stated that his son Tyson was at the LSU camp last year and Cameron told him "every time you throw the football, throw it as hard as you can", and alluded to Harris and his short passing having no touch. Indicated that he thinks this approach is the reason for Harris' struggles with the short passing game.

Context is important. I'm sure Cam isn't that stupid.

I'm not a fan of what's going on, but I've heard Miles say on numerous occasions that they're trying to teach Harris that he needs to put touch on passes and that he can't only have a fastball in his repertoire.

Cmon guys. We are talking about a guy that coached several years in the NFL. Are y'all really trying to instill the rationale that Cameron is that bad and to blame?

What movie? I can't see the photo. I hope it's not Revenge of the Nerds.

Duly noted and perhaps Harvey missed out on some of the context.

Bottom line to me is that Cameron was supposed to be the answer to the prayers for the QB position at LSU but he hasn't done jack shite with Harris.

Maybe true in or out of context, Doesn't seem he is coaching Harris TO TAKE ANYTHING off the ball.

He still throws 5 yard passes as hard as he can, so either he is not being coached to throw it softer or Harris has a learning disability.

Even though he is a football player, he is also a college student, and I have heard him talk before, so I find it hard to believe he has a major learning disability or is mentally challenged in any sort of way that would keep him from being able to understand "throw it softer and with more touch on short passes".

You are honestly going to sit here and tell us you think Cam has coached Harris to throw touch passes the way he does?
