You think we would have won the Wisky game with Harris?
Would you rather have won the Wisky game or the M State game.
After watching both quarterbacks, there is no reason to believe that LSU could not have won the Wisconsin game, with Harris, if he had been given the majority of the snaps the week prior to the game.

Jenning's first 9 possessions: 8 punts, 1 fumble and 1 TD.

Did you see Harris in the Wisconsin game. He did not know the play, where he was, etc.
Yet he comes in the game and we immediately go to a HUNH offense?
OK

Could you at least clarify that Jennings wasn't the one that fumbled? Why do some feel the need to just shite on this kid?

Did you already forget his 3 plays against Wisconsin? Harris wasn't ready to start week 1 but he's certainly ready now.

Harris didnt start, and Miles chose the starter THEREFORE BH couldnt have been ready. Why?
What nobody in this thread seems to recall is that Harris still looked nervous in the ULM game:
quote:ESPN quoted on TigerDroppings
Once Harris got into the game, he screwed up at least two play calls and had to scramble for yardage once everyone else ran a different direction than he expected. Until he has a firm grasp on the playbook, Harris won’t truly challenge for the starting job.
Looks to me like Harris;s confidence started taking off with the MSU game.
It appears that Miles made the right call starting the season with Jennings and giving Harris more plays as the season progressed.
But to say that Harris should have started first snap of the season, that's moronic. The Wisconsin and ULM games are proof enough of that.

can you also tell me the lotto numbers?

Miles just declared Harris is starting vs Auburn. This is one SEC game too late.

LSU would not have won that game without Jennings.
However, I do have information concerning the likelihood of Harris winning the Wisconsin game. First, the coaching staff believed that Harris was not the QB to give LSU the best chance to win that game. So I have several expert opinions in their area of expertise. Second, Harris looked nervous during the Wisconsin game even though he was NOT the starter. Third, Harris performed poorly in that game. Fourth, Harris still did not know plays and looked nervous in the ULM game. Fifth, the Wisconsin game was a tight game with little room for a QB who did not know the plays.
So, no, I can't predict the lotto numbers; I don't have any information on that question. But, yes, I do have plenty of information about Harris and the Wisconsin game.

Best part about this train wreck of a thread is how Choctaw obviously up votes everyone of his post.

They also apparently believed that Jennings was the best QB to start this past Saturday. And, the Saturday before that.
I mean, ya know, since you're citing them.

People keep saying this, he played 3 freaking plays
Why is this being used as a defense? It could have gotten worse if he had more plays.
Maybe BH is a markedly better QB than he was a month ago.

quote:Well. Um. Maybe because even the best QBs in the history of football have had a bad series and even more than that have had an awful FIRST series.
Why is this being used as a defense? It could have gotten worse if he had more plays.
Hence, it's a legit point to say you don't really know shite from those 3 plays.
Hell, a better counter is to cite him going the wrong way at least twice against ULM.

Can you not understand that a player can get better?
More specifically, can you not understand that a true freshman might not be the best choice for the first game of the season but might be the best choice for later in the season?

Honestly it doesn't matter at this point. It clearly looked like AJ was the best candidate to start the season. Now BH is clearly better at running the offense.
If BH does make that big of a difference then we may win the rest of our games. It's a long shot, but if it happens, we'll make the champ game. If not...we'll get a great bowl game. No need for arse kicking. It won't change anything. Coaching lost against MSU...not AJ.

Not against Wisconsin, he shouldn't have. First game jitters were too much for Harris then. After that, I can see it.
