Only at LSU do the fans expect a teenage true sophomore QB to be Aaron Rodgers in his first year at starter. He came to LSU to learn how to be a QB not to rescue this program his second year here with no experience. Someone please give me a list of sophomore QBs who are leading their teams to victory week in and week out.

I remember Jamarcus Russell having no touch whatsoever on fades & short to intermediate routes as redshirt sophomore year. Yeah, young talented QB's with live arms don't ever blossom. They continue to stay the same as juniors & seniors. I love how so many are quick to throw Harris on the scrap heap yet after the his performance against Florida, they were singing the praises of his development.

I hope that you are correct on your predictions. I know that Harris threw for quite a few yards against Ole Miss which equated to 50% completion rate. I also looked back on his completion percentage rate in high school - - three years and roughly a little over 50% completions. I wish him the best and then I think - - how in the world did we miss out on Dak Prescott.

I'm not sure if those numbers will be best in the sec, but they are not out of the question.

Counting the bowl, I suspect he will finish with around 2300 yards, 17 TDs, 6 interceptions, and a 58% completion percentage. Your guess would be a reasonable progression.

Eta: the above numbers are for this year.

This thread reveals just how terrible our fanbase can be sometimes. He's certainly in the top half of the conference as a true sophomore with a clown head coach ruining the offense.

Here is how I rank the top half of quarterbacks of the SEC this year:

1. Dak Prescott (gone)
2. Brandon Allen (gone)
3. Chad Kelly (possibly gone)
4. Joshua Dobbs (returns)
5. Jake Coker (gone)
6. Brandon Harris
7. Kyle Allen (returns)

The top tier of the SEC next year is going to be Harris, Dobbs, Grier when he comes back, Kelly if he comes back, and Kyle Allen if he can turn it around. Your statement isn't baseless or stupid at all.

Honestly, he should be but his development has been a complete disservice to him.

How have I cursed them??? Did I play qb?? Did I roam the sidelines as a coach with serious game management skills???? Did I cause all those drive killing penalties???

Those numbers are very possible, and maybe even likely, regardless of the coach. This thread went to shite over stats that are not some out if reach goal for him based on how he's come along and the expected progression with another year of experience.
