Is this a waking dream? Do you see the way he holds a football? It just looks wrong. Since I'm playing the role of speculator I would even suggest that has something to do with his weakness in the short to intermediate passing game. He may have small hands. Compare Harris dropping back with the football to nearly anyone else and you will see it. He may get better next year but he was never the answer.

Harris will be a 2nd round draft pick

Just so we're clear, you are speaking about Harris becoming a second round draft pick in the NFL, not the CFL, correct?

I could see Drake donning a #6 Argonauts Jersey, cheering on Brandon Harris at the Rogers Centre.

There were also people on aTm's board the believed Kyle Allen was one of the best QBs in the country...it goes both ways baw.

When healthy, he's pretty close. Leonard Fournette has had a few bad games and is still a good running back.

He's at 55%, which is not last in conference.
I didn't actually post Harris % or rank in SEC.

Not sure about Harris SEC rank, but 50% completion rate would put a team dead last in that SEC category.
Another poster seemed to think 50% was ok, or something along those lines.

But there is no question the young man has all of the tools needed.

"All" of the tools? Really?

How about accuracy? Touch on short throws? Pocket presence? Ability to read defenses? Going through progressions? Leadership?

Yes, he was not helped by our horrific offense and coaching, but I don't think he has those tools.

As a first year starter his numbers this year are not bad.

Please stop with the "first year starter" excuse.

Five of the last 6 national champions have had first year starting QBs.

Yes High school competition = SEC
Wide open 2nd look is wide open. Forcing is forcing. Touch is touch.
Sure the game is moving fast, but to say none of this is his fault is silly and he'd surely agree.

Harris is going to be great over the next 2 years and a 2nd round draft pick

A second round pick? In the NFL????

Absolutely zero, and I mean ZERO, chance that will ever happen.

JJ was better. The JJ hate on this board has always been irrational. We constantly fault 19 year old boys instead of the older man who recruited and poorly coached them.

Les Miles - (Saban recruits) = Dale Brown
