Wow. Did you forget the facilities before he got here and what he demanded? I can tell you first hand about the fundraising and change in direction of the program. Yes DiNardo “brought back the magic” but it was the facilities that made this into the program it is today. Saban worked all of us to donate to get where we are today in site of the fact that we had a cheap arse AD in Skip that really put the screws to the AD. Some of you won’t give credit where credit is due because of your hatred for him. I get that but if you don’t believe me just look at the difference in what they did when he got to Bama. Look how that entire shithole city was transformed from him bringing vision and winning to them.

Jealous fellas.

Maybe you'd like to share your assessment of Ed's coaching history. Why'd he leave the program in such shambles?

It did not take him long to build the best team ever.

And even less time to flush the program down the toilet.

I’d shake his hand and say thank you if I saw him today.

I'd probably just say Geaux Tigahs. I try not to bother folks too much. I do appreciate the 2019 season, though. Man that was fun.

Idk, I think he was a better football coach than Les Miles. He just couldn't handle the success, and he wasn't PC enough to say the right things when all the BLM and racial movements happened during covid.

Les Miles >>>>> Coach O as a football coach

Miles’ sustained success was more impressive than Coach O’s one lucky flash in the pan, all stars-aligned year.

Happy birthday to Coach O. He made LSU football fun to follow again. Never a boring moment.

2020 & 2021 were excruciatingly bad and not fun at all. I would rather be bored while we decimated other teams than go through that ever again.

Shrimpy and all of his "Luzianner Lifer" Sycophants on the Rant can all go to the Ole Miss locale of residence.

He is like the Doolittle raid crew.

The mission was a success but we all knew we wouldn't make it back

Coach Orgeron was one of the greatest LSU coaches ever. Gave us a national championship, undefeated 2019 season, and a Heisman winner.

Coach O broke the psychological spell that Bama had over the state and program that started under Miles. Coach O erased the 2012 BCS debacle that the retard Miles gave us. Coach O whipped the Midget.

People who hate Coach O for two bad seasons during COVID and BLM riots are just morons. The man is a legend.

Ed and I overlapped a couple of years at Northwestern State, but I don't remember ever running into him. He would have been hard to miss.

People forget this, yes no doubt the program declined but a bunch of bad things happened together that led to the shite show.

Jesus some of you are just unbelievable. Greatest LSU coach ever?
Let me name you all of the better LSU FOOTBALL (only) coaches in my life time:
Paul Dietzel
Charles McClenndon
Bill Arnsbarger
Gerry Dinardo
Nick Saban
Les Miles
Brian Kelly
*not counting Bo Rein but those of us that saw what he did in NC st anticipated him being tGOAT.

Then there are ones he is on par with:
Jerry Stovall but that is even questionable because Coach Stovall was a great coach in terms of football knowledge. He did take over in a tough spot.

O was better than Archer and Hallman.

Yes, COVID and BLM clearly affected LSU more negatively and uniquely than any university in the country. Coach Zero is a victim.

Amen, Orgeron was the least reason why LSUFB rose in 2019. Orgeron was less equipped to manage or lead than Curley Hallman.

2019 was Aranda, Burrow, Brady! Orgeron and OC were not the reason!!!

Happy Birthday but I am very glad Orgeron’s influence is in the dustbin!!!
