Hannagriff “Orgeron’s doing better than most of his replacements”

Hannagriff noted of all the numerous coaches that LSU tried to hire or could have hired over Orgeron, most are not doing great, just average and some have really tanked. Also noted, that if you point to Miami and Aub as losers, Miami is 5-5, then you need to point to Ga, the best win of any college team this year belongs to the LSU Tigers and Orgeron.
Hannagriff said you’d never know LSU had won Saturday, or was a top ten ranked team, based on the number of negative callers post game.
“Fake news” are reports that note only the positive or negative aspects of things, same applies for all things LSU.

How would O be doing at Colorado or UNC? It's an insanely stupid comparison to make.
We've already seen how Ed does when he has to build a program of his own.

I've lost a lot of respect for Hanni this year. Either he's become an idiot or allowed people to put the clamps on him.
LSU where, according to the coach, we're ready to compete for championships, is not the same as a complete revamp job he's comparing those to.
Thats like saying Coach O had a better first year at LSU than Nick Saban did at LSU or Alabama - Coach O is better than Nick Saban.

Big picture, he has done a great job this year. But the offense is heading in the wrong direction and anyone can see that. It is what has most of us worried. 2019 looks good on paper (16 returning staters possibly) with an easier schedule. We should be a top 10 team to start next year. As with every year, he needs to have a very strong finish to the recruiting class. Arrow is pointed upward for now, but that can change quickly.

Coach O walked into a better situation than every other coach LSU considered. As others have said it isn't a fair comparison.

Go listen to the segment. He said how would these candidates have done so far at LSU, and he gave an even handed assessment of each. At no point did he say O has definitely done better than those other candidates would have done.

His station probably received an increased number of complaint calls from Alleva, Ponamsky, or whomever over at the LSU athletic department. I used to enjoy his show because he said what a lot of us were thinking. Now, he's a glorified Orgeron cheerleader, deflecting criticism and offering excuses for O and Ensminger.

This isn’t true. He was on the show after the game and said “a game plan that made les miles smile”. Doesn’t sound like he’s in the tank for O and E
