What a meet for these girls! I know they didn’t win but wow, they put it all out there. If you compare some of those floor and beam routines you see where the judges still play favorites.

Very confused. They said they overturned the out of bounds but left the score at a 9.8375. The lady earlier said it was a .1 deduction so shouldn’t that be a 9.9375

Very proud of Sarah Finnegan! So sorry that she didn’t win a team championship to go along with her individual championships. Gymnastics needs to do something about the scoring.

The OU vault scores were a flat out joke.

It wouldn’t matter. It’s been y’all all season that certain teams get inflated scores and nothing is ever done. The announcers are even brave enough to question scores sometimes

They may have been better but they are not that far away from the rest of the competition. They are good but they are not what that score reflects.
Also when you are giving that much room to not frick up, it takes a lot of pressure away from OU, while it piles on to LSU, UCLA and Denver just to try to catch them.
Its pretty disgusting and a disservice to fans, coaches, athletes and to the sport.

This team started their season slow and unsure of what direction they would go. They rebounded and started to peak at the right times finishing with an SEC Championship and National Runner-Up.
As much as I love the Tigers, they weren't supposed to win this meet, much less a top 2 finish. OU and UCLA were supposed to be battling for the title and we snuck into 2nd place with consistency. The overscoring of OU was blatantly obvious and while they were the best team of this meet, they were not 0.5125 better than LSU. Two-tenths I would give them, but not that big of a separation. UCLA was grossly overscored as well for major hops, balance checks, wobbles, and out-of-bounds steps.
Congrats to this senior class and team for a strong season finish. I was expecting a Top 8 finish, but national runner-up after those losses to Kentucky and Auburn? They bounced back, but the challenge of replacing Sarah, Lexie, and Mckenna will be tough.
