I read the article. GG didn't say Jay Johnson wasn't a good coach, he simply said that there were others who were available who might be better.
LSU hit the jackpot by hiring a young Jay Johnson, who now has been to the CWS four times and won twice with LSU.
I understand the scorn for GG. This article wasn't bad or negative, just an opinion. Then again, LSU fans have very thin skins....and I know, I've seen it first hand and so have you.
