It’s important to note that O made the comment about Victim #1, who is the girl who never filed a formal complaint at LSU. Who actually refused to file a formal complaint when reached out to by LSU and never told a single LSU official about the incident. So I’m not sure how O was supposed to “know” about the alleged rape.
Right. My post was simply playing devil’s advocate if what the player said about that meeting with O actually happened. To be clear, I am not suggesting O knew anything or did anything wrong at all. Just offering a couple of hypothetical ways it could have gone down IF what the player said was true.

You really need to just google “title 9 sexual violence” & understand the protocols

The older I get, the more I realize that money and power drive everything and will make otherwise good people do or cover up bad things.
I have no idea if O did anything wrong. But at this point, nothing would surprise me.
I really am starting to wonder if anyone in the public eye is "clean." I'm starting to think probably not.
Yes, everyone has skeletons in their closet. But to ascend to million-dollar salaried jobs, and high level political office, you're probably did some dirty and unethical stuff at some point.
I trust no one.

Uh oh. If O knew about this, as is being contended, this could be big trouble. #metoo yikes
It would only be big trouble if it wasnt reported upward, which it clearly was
Incident 1
Coach O wasnt even head coach when it was reported, and lsu officals did reach out and the girl refused to file a report
Incident 2
Report was filed through lsu tennis coaches and title ix investigators, nothing at all about football coaches burying anything
Besides a morality angle that football coaches have bad guys on their team, I have no clue where the angle "O covered this up" is coming from. It isnt even alledged at all in the article

I know exactly who you are talking about then. She seems to have had some problems around that time frame and made vague posts about on Facebook.

That means there are multiple underclassman on one roster that didn't reappear on the following year's roster.
Tennis seems to have a lot of turnover.
One linked to Drake Davis beatings
No clue how womens tennis coaches are still here

Yeah, you're right. A coach covering up for a star player has never happened before. I don't know what I was thinking.

What in the hell does that have to do with this situation?

That part of the story looks so obvious they had to find a way to shoehorn O into the story
Reminds me of in “How I Met Your Mother” whenever Barney is telling a made up story, a woman in the story always says “your penis is enormous”, and that’s what clues everyone in that he’s lying.

Did you read the article?
It seems unlikely O knew the girl was even alleging that she was raped.

Thats a super cool and innovative use of Google Lester, but you are forgetting something. In order to get to school negligence, you not only have to accept admitted speculation within the allegation wholecloth, but you have to assume the school knew and did nothing. The university will almost certainly say that there was no report or formal complaint filed, or it will say it investigated and found the accusation not credible.
We aren't even close to that place yet. In fact, some are giving these anonymous drug abusing girls the benefit of the doubt, but not a school and staff that has cast aside bigger stars than Guice for much less.

Also understand, Guice was no star at all in the spring of 2016 like the article insinuates

Of course being an a-hole never gets old to you.
It seems sad that you have nothing better to do than to keep up the act on a message board. I can't imagine going through life where purposely rubbing people the wrong way is my mission. You do you though.
