Even if LSU and TCU loses, Tennessee is still getting in over them. They're pretty much 100% locked in if that happens. He just said they control their own destiny. Tennessee who beat Bama and LSU. USC's Pac 12 opponents are something like 15-36. I think loser of Ohio St and Mich would stay in because they're at least playing a tiny more respectable opponents than Pac 12 imo.

On top of last week saying LSU has 0 shot of making playoffs.

USC will be completely irrelevant when they lose to UCLA this weekend. They could lose to ND next week too.

And you can’t keep the SEC champ who just beat the number 1 team in the nation out of the playoff. It isn’t happening.

Tennessee is in if they win out, doesn't matter what LSU does. The only way I see USC in over Tennessee is if they pick brand over substance. Tennessee definitely has the better resume but USC for sure has the brand. The committee could go for USC and Los Angeles market over Rocky Top.

If LSU does happen to beat Georgia, they are both going to the playoffs. I don’t think they put 3 SEC teams in, unless you think LSU gets left out. Which is preposterous.

If USC makes the playoffs, they will lose by 4 TDS to whoever they play

I think UGAs in regardless of SEC-CG outcome.

If LSU beats UGA in the SEC-CG then I think Tenn gets the shaft. Their not puttin 3 SEC teams in for sure.

They do control their own destiny. That’s facts. Not sure why so many people get butthurt so easy. They win the PAC 12 they would be in over a non conference champ Tennessee and loser of OSU/Michigan. It’s a no brainer. Stop crying over opinions you don’t agree with Jesus.

Yeah I don't see a scenario where LSU wins out (including beating UGA) and Tenn gets in but LSU doesn't.

LSU wins out and beats UGA, it's LSU, UGA, unbeaten TCU, and the winner of tOSU/Michigan.

That’s not a terrible take; it is a GREAT take! You just don’t understand what he’s trying to accomplish, which is to rope in a larger audience to his program, which makes money, not on how correct his opinion is, but on how many viewers he has.

You guys who whine about media takes are about the same as guys who watch WWF as though it’s real.

First off, TCU would have to lose for them to get in. That's not controlling your own destiny. 2nd, they have to count on LSU losing. 3rd, they have to count on, if 1 of the 2 prior things happen, that they wouldn't choose Tennessee or loser of Ohio st/Mich above them. USC has played no one. Look at their schedule. 15-36 is their Pac 12 opponent record. That's not an SEC 15-36. That's a Pac 12.. 15-36. Tennessee beat Bama and LSU. USC has beat Rice.

Now.. re-read your opinion and tell me you're right. Only way you could still do it is if your ego is too big to handle rational correct thoughts countering you.

That’s usually how Lincoln Riley does it.

LSU's only shot at beating uGA is if JD5 suddenly becomes a competent passing QB. If he does, I think the Tigers have a legitimate shot at winning.

IF LSU wins the SEC and is left out, that would expose the committee for the corrupt frauds that they are. Having a committee decide the teams is what is preposterous. It should be the computer system. The four teams could be selected after the traditional bowl games.

“Corrupt Frauds”? How do you substantiate this? They seem to have done a good job so far.

If TCU and USC lose, I have Ohio State/Michigan winner, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee in. Ohio State/Michigan loser and a 1 loss ACC Champ are on the outside looking in, unfortunately for them.

Why does the committee have closed door meetings? What are they hiding? If you cannot see when shown, you cannot see, friend.

I agree with him on this one. The debate regarding USC is not with Tennessee but with Clemson and UNC. Assuming Georgia, TCU, and Ohio State/Michigan finish undefeated, the 4th seed is more likely to go to a 1-loss PAC 12 or ACC champion than to Tennessee.
