Regardless of the truth, Kelly's reputation has been damaged beyond repair at this point.
Honestly, I'm in the camp that believes its tarnished the LSU brand. They're eating them up on social media.
Not sure what credibility Kelly has left in many living rooms. Likely undeservedly so.

Exactly. Brooks’ camp was calculated with releasing this Super Bowl week. They wanted as many eyes on this story as possible. The GMA segment sounds like a huge deal but only grandmas and housewives watch that show.
No one will give a shite about this story the second the Super Bowl kicks off.

It’s a fricking disgrace that Greg had to be trotted out to barely form coherent sentences to help build negative PR.
I sympathize with the family, I really do. Medical bills are expensive and he’ll likely have them for the rest of his life. But man sometimes shite just happens. LSU didn’t do anything wrong. Brian Kelly certainly didn’t do anything wrong. I don’t know enough about the surgeon except what Google says, and that he’s an adult neurosurgeon, so I don’t know…
It all just sucks

That’s what it seems the Brooks family wants. All this negative PR will get LSU to settle bc it’s nothing to LSU but a lot to them and they know LSU probably wants this to stop. The more negative they are, the more it pushes LSU.

Yes, it’s getting really ugly. Regardless of what is true or not, it’s still not a great look for BK or LSU on the surface. -The biological Dad suddenly appears and takes the lead. Amazing
-Supposedly picture of Brian Kelly and Greg together in Memphis hospital was taken down from Greg’s social media. Of course it was. Surely someone has that screenshot. Let’s find it.
-In this article from Oct 23’ Kelly seems to be pretty in touch with Greg’s family and shows concern.

Yeah really sad turn of events. Greg would have always been apart of this university for the rest of his life. Would have been apart of something bigger than football. Probably an ambassador to the university, awards named after him, an overall role model for the university that would have been recognized and appreciated every day of his life.
Now because of the actions of his family and attorney the university will need to distance themselves. Once settled, he will have never existed. A real shame what money does to people. Sorry he has these kind of people in his life. Very shortsighted and his family did him wrong. Hopefully he can find peace one day with that.
