They just need to be done with this and settle quickly. Would be best for all parties involved to move forward and no airing of dirty laundry. Will just continue to become a messier distraction.

This lawyer is honestly making me feel like I hope LSU wins, and that's not good for anybody. I honestly don't believe for one second that BK never made an attempt to contact Greg or his family. It's just not human nature. It would take a monumental self-absorbed and careless individual to do that and BK has never shown the attributes it would take to be that type of person. A lawyer though? They are those types of people.

The surgery was done in September 2023 at which points complications would have been apparent. It is very possible that Kelly was highly present in the month that followed, October 2023. What could also be true is that Brooks's family started making it known they were not happy with LSU or the hospital, at such time LSU may have advised Kelly to disengage.
For additional context on the importance, the communications Kelly would have had with Brooks could likely be used as evidence to the extent he said or did anything that would indicate culpability of the school. Even a simple “I’m sorry, Greg. I wish things would have gone different.” That’s why you disengage.

let them fight in court then we can see who is lying and who is not.

This is a no win for BK, but his rebuttal was very good. I doubt he responds again.
BK isn’t going to get in a public pissing match with an attorney who is trying to bait Brian Kelly and LSU.
Unfortunate but Greg brooks, LSU, and Brian Kelly will ultimately be caught in a large money grab.

To me, it seams like Brian Kelly was in contact with him for the 3 months after his surgery then something changed and he hasn’t contacted Greg since.
So that would be December of 2023 since surgery was in September.

If they want to make the public case all about whether Kelly checked in on him, which doesn't really have anything to do with the legal case, I think LSU would probably push it forward some.

It will be very easy to show when the Brooks family started to become aggressive towards lsu
There will be tests and emails

Kelly is basically lying.

LSU announced the Greg Brooks fund in early October of 2023. That is when the rift between the family and LSU started. You're probably correct. Kelly was there with him up until that point.
Everyone keeps saying LSU should settle, but I am unsure what they are even settling for. What did they do wrong?

Why does it matter if his current at the time or former head coach now does or does not talk, visit, call, write letters, email etc? That is a non-legal issue. It is entirely irrelevant. If you wanna say oh BK’s a bad person then ok fine but that isn’t breaking any laws. If they want to sue LSU over a lack of diagnosis, treatment, health care, surgery gone bad then they have that right as well. But whether BK has or hasn’t been in contact with Greg, the family, or anyone else on the side is entirely irrelevant.

Another bungled media appearance by CBK

Honestly, other than embarrassment or a smear campaign, what does Kelly contacting or not contacting Brooks in 16 months have to do with the claims or causes of action in Brooks' lawsuit?

They keep bringing up how they are looking forward to things being revealed in court while they keep making attacks of character outside of court.
Sounds to me like they’re trying to muddy the waters to force LSU’s hand in a settlement.
That is exactly what they are trying to do. They are personally attacking Kelly not talking to him months after the surgery. Even if Kelly didn't talk to him since October 2023, is not illegal for Kelly to not talk to him. They are trying to get sympathy for their client and are trying to have everyone against Kelly/LSU.

Absolutely nothing
BK has a team to manage in the extremely difficult NIL era and is on the road frequently trying to recruit players that can help win a title
He's one of the busiest guys in the state and it's not illegal to drop communications with the Brooks family because of that
Now that said, I just don't believe it's been over a year but even if it had that has no bearing on the lawsuit outside of trying to drive up public interest to get a quick settlement to shut their mouths

Bingo. Blatantly obvious that one side is trying to make the other look bad.

I tend to agree with Jack, settle this shite quickly; LSU generated nearly 225 million last season, it's nothing for them to give the Brooks family 5 million, free health care and therapy for the rest of his life. The longer it goes, BK and LSU will garner a stain that can't be cleansed.

Brian Kelly barely knew this kid. LSU gave them tons of money. It SUCKS what he is going through, but so many people go through this and no one helps those people at all. They are trying to create a hit piece to hurt LSU and Kelly so they can get more money.
That's how this sounds to me. Seems disgusting. Can't believe they are going back and forth over this.
And of course people outside of LSU are eating this stuff up. They will use anything to hate on BK.

To me it’s problematic that Michael Strahan would do the interview. Having a daughter who had the same surgery, and was in contact indirectly with Greg’s family. He’s too close to this to give an objective interview. If this was a feel good story it would be fine, but not when these types of accusations are being made.

The lawsuit has 0.0% chance to ever even make it to court. The attorney knows that
The attorney in order to try and get the money grab family money is trying to get lsu to pay jsut to make it go away
LSU needs to not do that and watch this “case” get crushed in summary judgment
