I’m sure LSU athletics are helping in every way they can. Is there any fund to donate to? TBD?
Lsu covers it with their insurance and funds, etc. I had 3 surgeries, years of PT, etc covered by LSU. In fact I received more money once I was medically disqualified. He will be taken care of. Just send prayers

At his age the tumor that would be of biggest concern is a glioblastoma. This is the one that has a very high mortality rate in younger patients.
If the rumors of vertigo are correct, from my very brief reading on the subject, acoustic neuromas seem to be a distinct probability. Those are almost always benign, as I understand it. Glioblastomas do cause severe headaches and seizures, though, and some rumors did say that as well, though seizures seem to be common amongst almost all tumors occurring within the skull.
Let us all pray that it was as benign and that the tumor and surgery were minimally impactful on any part of his brain long term.

The result of the biopsy is not back, so this may or may not be cancer. Not all tumors are cancer.

Would that cause vertigo though? Don't those grow to the front of the brain? If he's having vertigo wouldn't it more likely be on his cerebellum?
I assume not an Acoustic Neuroma since those don't need to be biopsied since they never spread.

but that doesn’t sound encouraging.
Many brain tumors are benign. My nephew had one removed last year and he’s fine. Let’s pray that is the case here and stay hopeful.

Please tell me you aren’t serious. If not, you don’t know anything about HIPPA.

Thoughts and prayers for Greg and his family.
Sometimes football takes a back seat to situations like this. Hope to see him make a full recovery very soon.
Whether he plays another down of football ever again is not important. He will always be an LSU Tiger.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Icongeauxtigers.png)

Well, we still don’t know if it’s malignant or not, right? I know we’re all praying it’s benign. Wearing a grey jersey would seem to be premature at this point.
Not that they could get that many grey jerseys and matching pants—I’m assuming white with grey stripes?—ready in such a short amount of time. And we’re not going away from our traditional white on gold for the SEC home opener.
I’m not criticizing the suggestion by any means—all ideas to honor him are welcome and taken in the spirit in which they were meant. But wearing grey just seems, I don’t know, morose? I think something like a “3” patch would be the more appropriate sentiment, and certainly much more practical.
But man, just damn. I can’t imagine how terrifying this must be for both him and his parents. Prayers up for 3.

I realize this. I was just answering the question as to why they would wear grey uniforms.
