I realize this. I was just answering the question as to why they would wear grey uniforms.
National brain cancer awareness month is in May and their color is grey.
My husband is currently fighting GBM. He will make 3 years in November. It’s a terrible terrible disease. How was was your wife? My husband was diagnosed at 39.

Football tickets donation

Hey y’all! I’ve posted before, but I want to reach out again this year. TLDR: my husband has terminal brain cancer and am throwing our 3rd annual fundraiser for brain cancer research. Does anyone have 2-4 lsu football tickets to donate? It can be for any game! Please let me know. Thanks!
Thanks and many back to you and your family. It's not a club anyone should have to belong to, regardless of age. I think one of the things I worry about is the fact that we couldn't have kids so I don't have that factor as something to lean on and distract me. I'm just hoping and praying it won't be complete loneliness when the time comes.
Yea it's the little things that feel like a kick in the gut. Like realizing I will need to change my in case of emergency contact person. He has gone downhill physically, but it's the mental aspect that is heart breaking to watch. He is one of the most intelligent people I know. He's just a shell of himself. It hard to watch, but I read him history trivia cards to keep him mind going and that seems to help.
I will be in the same boat at some point. My husband was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer at the age of 39. It has been 28 months, which with his type is pretty amazing, but the dread I have every day knowing what's to come is awful. Many prayers to you and your family!
Thank you so much! Our last 2 vacations have been canceled due to storms/ covid. Soooo… we are crossing our fingers and praying to any and every God that this happens.
Thank you! I will be calling MD Anderson tomorrow and see if we can reschedule our appointments!
Thanks! He was diagnosed right after Thanksgiving last year. We decided to go to Disneyworld and to renew our vows. We are very excited, but each day is hard. He just turned 40 in April and I’m only 35 so we are hoping his age is on his side. We are renewing our vows 10/16! Everyday is hard. But we try our hardest to stay positive.
Thanks! I will call them tomorrow before we leave. I’m in Lafayette so we have a small drive. Hopefully we can move it to latest this week. Next week we head to Disneyworld for a yolo trip we have wanted to take for a decade.
I don’t post really ever, but This is super important to me. I am bringing my husband, who has terminal brain cancer to MD Anderson for his monthly check up tomorrow and his appointments are Tuesday. Do y’all think we should reschedule? I don’t want to get stuck in Houston with the rain.

A donation of 2 football tickets

Hey y’all. TLDR: my husband has brain cancer. Throwing a fundraiser to raise money for brain cancer research and am looking for 2 football tickets to be donated off my fundraiser and LSU Basket. Doesn’t matter the date or location!
This is such a great idea! My husband and I just got back from MDA last week for his monthly scans and lab work. He has brain cancer so we will be going for the foreseeable future.

Thanks. It’s a kick in the nuts for sure. He just turned 40 in April, but I believe his age is on his side. He had a few brain surgeries and didn’t have any weakness on his left side. Anyway, he’s doing well. For the most part.

I’ve been a very long-time lurker, like going on 15+ years. But this post made me post. Many prayers to you. My husband was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in November. I fully believe prayer and positive thoughts has helped in his monthly scans and tests. Anyway, good luck!
