Great game but the coaches need to play to score till the end.

Garbage run plays and running the clock in the third qtr doesn't prepare this team for SEC play.

Up 33-3
Would you have had them constantly throw the ball to chance the clock stopping?

exactly, do they not remember Les got fired for that shite? We don't need to be passing on every play but maybe prioritize first downs instead of running out the clock?

Chill out. We played conservative because the game was locked up. We have next week to prepare for the SEC. A win is a win.

They did go to it a little early but I believe that has more to do with this being the first game than anything. If it was later in the season I believe they do more things in the 3rd quarter.

It's a new offense with all new players versus a team that feeds off of turnovers. No reason to play into that. It was a good win. Be happy.

You're complaing about a 16 point win over the 8th ranked team. frick off

I agree if we're playing southeastern. We were playing a team known for turnovers and had big play ability.
If we throw a pick 6 fans are gonna crucify the coach. Many remember '94 Auburn

Aranda disagrees. He pulled half his starters.

I'll take the win, thanks. Hind sight is 20/20 in play calling. Even if the run game isnt effective, it still eats some clock. If it is successful the game is over. I'm not going to fault the coaching staff for attempting to do what any other staff with a brain would do, take the win vs a top 10 team and put it in your pocket.

They mad but you have a point.
Several teams came back on us last season because we let the foot off the gas. The idiots shitting on you need to go back and watch the Syracuse game and a couple others. We had Miami on their heels, should have gone for the throat with one more score. 40-17 looks a lot more dominant than 33-17.

We were up by 30 in the 4th against Syracuse?

Agree that we should not take the foot off the gas, but it is an opportunity to give playing experience to benchers.

Why would they listen to the QB that upset a top ten team opening night?
