Grant just entered the game against the Astros. He threw 3-4 pitches over a 100mph

Nobody cares

He's good but didn't contribute anything

Well wishes to him but he doesn't deserve the fanfare here

Well, one of the people he called to tell him he was called up was Jay Johnson. But he wasn’t a Tiger and didn’t pitch his freshman season. Imagine 2023 with him and Skenes dumbass.

Ok Mr funny man - I bet they challenge for the most wins ever by an LSU team. Multiple reports had him better than Skenes in the fall and projecting him as the Friday starter. They also had another reliever that was injured who was good but it slips my mind. The LSU staff wasn’t what they became until Floyd got out of his own head and well, Cooper did what he always did in heating up the last 2 months of the season.

Exactly why Shores is going to be a high pick,

You can't teach that level of heat. But you can teach how to harness it.

Right before he got hurt they started nailing down the rotation. Skenes was going to be the Friday guy. And it looked like Jay was going to put Grant into the shutdown role out of the bullpen. That is why when he got hurt he moved Ty to the bullpen to start the season. I think Grant would have been the main guy out of the bullpen based on how those conversations were taking place after he got injured.

Very likely he transitions back to the rotation as a starter at some point when Hurd started struggling. But Jay has been a very big proponent of having one of his best arms come out of the pen to shut things down.

Agreed, and he stayed with the team the entire season. I remember CJJ saying the guys that stayed the entire (2023) season would get rings, but not the ones that bailed early.
