Sitting in the living room watching the game with my husband as our two year old played with his toys. My eyes started to tear up as Warren walked up to the batter's box. I told my husband that this was just too much pressure on "that child" with him having just come back during regionals. I said a little prayer asking God to just help him do his best and we all got to see what Warren's best looked like. Warren's walk-off is a perfect example of how important it is to have high expectations in life. None of us truly knows what we are capable of until we are challenged and have to give our very best to meet that challenge. What a tough Tiger! Thank you Warren! And thank you Skip for putting the right person in a position to deliver his best effort and a NC for the Tigers!

I was watching it on tv in my apartment in Baton Rouge. I was living South of campus on Burbank Drive.

I had an understated response to the homer. I think I just didn't really get yet what happened. I was happy, but I guess it was like watching a fireworks show or a beautiful sunset you just take it and enjoy it.

and coach pinch hits Warren Morris

He didn't pinch hit. He was actually like 3-4 that game.

Sitting in a one ton truck hitched to a stump grinder.
Land clearing.
Game on the radio.
Suffice to say, work came to a screeching halt.

I was working at Footaction at Cortana Mall that day. The whole place was packed and there was no way you could get in the store. It was lined up wall to wall people at the entrance just watching the tv.

Sitting in a recliner and everyone had given up and walked outside. He hit the shot and I yelled as loud as if I died. All ran back in disbelieving they won till they showed the replay.

How the hell do you walk out in that situation? I'd never forgive myself if I missed something like that because I gave up

I was 13 years old in Rosenblatt. My dad and I left for Omaha my last day of school in eight grade. My dad passed away about ten years later. One of my best memories of him. I'll never forget that trip for many other reasons than Warren's HR.

Sold my house and was renting one in Broadmoor while building another. Power went out on that little street so I was listening to my truck radio. When it happened I heard the whole neighborhood explode.

Grand Isle. Had just taken a break from surf fishing to check on the game. Evidently, everyone on the beach was listening because the roar was deafening.

Got to be the only Hurricane baseball fan on this site doing the downvoting. Does Cnasty still post? He's the only one I remember seeing on here and he'd be a downvoting mofo in this thread.

In the cheap seats in the left field bleachers at Rosenblatt with my 2 oldest kids. They were 8 and 10 at the time. It was fantastic.
