My buddies house. We were hanging out at the magnolia woods pool and came back to his house to watch the game.

I watched the game at Ivar's and remember the trophy coming in. The place was wild. I miss the shite out of Pat Quigley. He probably made out with 25 different chicks that night. The dude was a real life Sam Malone.

I was at a friend's house watching it on television. I remember it like it was yesterday. It is hard to believe it has been 20 years.

Riding in the car in Nola on way to a wending. Was with my girlfriend(future wife) and her brothers. Neither brother was an LSU fan and not much into baseball so they thought I was fcking crazy for the way I started screaming when I heard what happened on the radio.

In reading The Advocate piece and all of these threads, it is interesting to see how many people that profess to be super fans in here weren't watching the game and doing other things at the time.

ETA: "my wife and I were shopping for lamps at the time. Someone in the mall told me Morris hit the home run and I started running around yelling 'geaux Tigers' and rolling on the ground crying. I thought the Cortana security was going to arrest me! "

I was about to say the same thing. How could people not be by a tv watching this? Crazy

ETA: Then I read your next paragraph and you weren't watching either.

I was at an All-Star softball tourney coaching my daughter's team. I remember it was announced over the PA system right after it happened.

You were 8 and were able to jump high enough off of a coffee table to hit the ceiling fan? OK.

Hoping you're joking.

In the grass down right field line at Rosenblatt pissed off that we were down by 1 with 2 outs and coach pinch hits Warren Morris! That was one roller coaster game and moment that I will never forget.
My girlfriend (now ex-wife) and I went to every LSU game in Omaha that year.

I was working for Mockler beverage on South Choctaw and we were hosting the lsu football coaching staff in the hospitality room for the game and the Belmont afterwards. I had gone to the otb in port Allen to make bets for me and all my bosses. Room went wild after Morris home run. Then we all hit bets on the race. Headed to Ivar's after the Belmont. Ended up there till 4 am. One of the bartenders gave me a ride home. It was a great day!!
