Les Miles-Paul Maneri Comparison

Posted by jbl2615 on 4/21/17 at 8:13 pm
Does anyone see a comparison between the coaching style of these two?

You get what you pay for
As we all know,no potentially great qb was going to come to LSU as long as Miles was head coach. And I don't blame them!

What am I missing? If you were a great qb would you want to give up your future playing in a Les Miles run offense? No other great qb did.It is over, maybe we now can sign a great qb.

Remember we hired him before OM did!

Is it a stretch to wonder if Shea Patterson would have come to LSU if Les Miles with his reputation for never developing a QB,had not been our HC?
No, but I would like for him to retire for the same reason that Steve Spurrier retired in mid season last year.Like Steve said they don't play football the way I coach anymore. This is true of Miles also.
We love him, appreciate what he did for LSU.Now go out on your own terms and be remembered favorably. Retire, not be fired.

Took about 3 minutes. The man will not get out of the way and let Cam put in an offense that will free up Fournette.Saban proved last year that Leonard can not run into an eight man line defense and be effective.

If Les Miles were a horse trainer in Kentucky,Secretariat would be a bottle of glue!

Please refresh my memory, didn't Skip Bertman proclaim this to be the golden era of tiger athletics? It doesn't seem this way to me!
He is going to announce that he is hiring Tex Winter to be his assistant coach, worked for Dale

I HEAR THAT HE IS VERY ACCURATE ON SHORT,INTERMEDIATE
PASSES. THAT IS ALL WE NEED TO COMPLIMENT
FOURNETTE. DON'T BET AGAINST HIM
How can he be better than Chad Kelly of Ole Miss? Kelly will be the premier qb in the league. I hate to admit it but seeing is believing,

Bob Pettit Statue Unveling

Posted by jbl2615 on 2/28/16 at 9:13 pm
I had the pleasure of attending the unveiling of Bob Pettit's Bronze Statue yesterday prior to the Florida basketball game.I grew up with Bob and watched him develop into one of the best players ever in college and the NBA. This well deserved honor was much too late coming. Most of the viewers did not see him play so can not realize what a great player he was.
I would like to suggest that you go to the Feb. 28 post which did have "Great video of Bob Pettit and look at this. Also you can google "Bill Simmons podcast with Bob Pettit". You really should know what a great player and person Bob Pettit was and is!
Brian Bateman won the Buick Open,PGA tournament. This is quite an achievement.
