I don't recall when LSU had a great season with less than 50% run

I went back 40 years and could only find 1 season where we threw the ball 50%+...i think it was 1997.

LOL at the dude saying we'll throw 60-70%

What are Culotta's credentials to evaluate players based on a limited exposure to watching drills?
Seriously, we won't know anything until fall camp is completed and they lace them up vs Miami. Stats from scrimmages will be meaningless. The players won't talk about what's happening behind the scenes.
People need to let it play out.
I've watched all the videos of camp and read all the reports and they yield zero insight into how this will shake out.

Ive never understood why people place so much authority on what Culotta says. He watches for 15 minutes and sees them throw the route tree. He doesn’t know shite.

I think Burrow gets the job, but many of you are underestimating McMillon. We will be fine with either of these starting.

That’s it. Sell Tiger Stadium.
Alleva already has. The interior has been desecrated with wretched excess permanent ads all over the stadium; more than any school school in the SEC. Tacky beyond belief. Put all the ads you want up on the video boards and scroll them on and off in pre-game, quarter breaks, time-out's, half-time and post-game. Get those tacky permamnent ads out of the stadium,...……………..

But those QB’s had Urban Liar calling plays, not a geriatric OC that hasn’t installed his own scheme in 30 years.

Maybe you missed the point about him having full access to O’s hired felon.

I took more away from him saying that Chaisson looks like the Boogeyman out at practice and thinks he will make a run at the sack record. He also says that Curry looks like he can add some weight and that LSU better hope that CEH or Brosette don't get hurt. He even went as far as to say that the freshmen aren't ready and that he believes that the coaches would turn to Fournette before those two. That really got my attention because I thought it was gonna be CEH and Curry going 1 and 2.
I always assumed CEH & Ducre/Brossette. While not impossible for Fr RBs to be early contributors, it takes a special talent for that. From the first day of pads & shorts to "getting it" there is a lot of mental and physical changes to be made.

The assumption Curry was going to step in immediately as the #2 has always been a bad one to me. Let's wait until Gm 5, then y'all can come back and give me a "told you so". But until then, reps but not significant.

That's the first step in this conglomerate we call "accuracy". IF the receiver is where he should be WHEN he should be (was part of DE's issue- WRs not being where/when in space). It's Sullivan's job to get them together.

I don't think that is Jordys opinion at all. I think he was told or heard that McMillian and Burrow are neck and neck. That seems to be the narrative that's being pushed from inside the building.

Exactly. That’s what ponamsky told him to pass along.

jordy and tbob were right on mcmilan leading the qb competition in the spring but no one wanted to believe them. i still think burrow is the guy and needs some time to get adjusted...but i think it's close right now. hopefully it won't be that way by miami week.

there's a reason jordy campaigned harder than anyone for O's candidacy. he wanted the access.

What was Flynn when he played behind JR.

Your assertions will be tested in about three weeks.

They beat Bama and won a CFP with their third string QB a couple years ago.

Yeah it’s kind of embarrassing. McMillan looked surprisingly good in the spring, almost as if 4 years in the program has done him good. . He was a 2x Texas state champ. Dude is a baller

I'm thinking the same thing. First off, it's only day 4 of camp. Secondly, Culotta is not going to step on his dick and report on the QB race without first running it by Ponamisky. The narrative will be neutral regarding QB's until maybe the last week of camp. At that time, I expect Burrow to be decidedly the starter.
Given the circumstances and only day 4, it's responsible reporting from Culotta and I can respect that.

Four days into practice, and y’all are determined to create another JJ/JL scenario. You can already see people choosing what side they’ll support.

None of the QBs looked good in the spring game. That’s why they went out and got burrow who showed out in his spring game. How about we just let it play out and support whatever qb starts instead of a dick measuring contest
