Culotta thought O was a great hire, so take his opinion with a grain of salt i.e. disregard it

The same way these morons crowned Burrow the starter before he even walked on campus.
Burrow WAS our starter as soon as he signed his papers. O didn't go out desperately looking for another backup.

JT Barrett was a back up at one point. Cardale Jones was third string ---- and won the national championship. I'll take my chances.

Didn't know Lincoln Riley was our offensive coordinator. My mistake.

We don't have Lincoln Riley but it's not like you have to have done the job recently to have a top offense. Just go to a couple of Saints practices and that'll do the trick. You didn't know that?

I don't think people need to be so enthralled by the qb competition. In the end, Burrow will be the starter and O is slow playing this thing to try and keep all the QBs on the roster if he can.

I think that the answer still lies with Brennan or Narcise. They are on a different level when it comes to raw talent. Size, smarts, experiece.... they are the only 2 that have the arms.

So much fail in one post.

its just as likely if not more likely that both of them are damn near perfect in all these drills theyve been doing. if they havent done this already, i think they will start to separate in how they read defenses, get rid of ball, etc.

Recipe for disaster

Old school thinking. In 2001 we had a really talented O. Saban tried and tried to win with running and D. After losing to Ole Miss, he scrapped that and decided to play to our strength and aired it out with Davey to Reed. We didn’t lose again. Had we done that from the get go, we probably play for it all.

Now we did have NFL RBs, but the defense was not of age and we didn’t play to our strength that year until it was too late.

Your last sentence is the reason Burrow will win the starting job. From the videos I've seen of Burrow, his quick decision making, pre/post snap reads and accuracy will be the determining factors why he wins the job.

True freshman redshirted with blown knee, another true fresh, and JM

Burrow was a third year sophomore.

See the difference?

their backups have been better than our starters over the years

Dickhead miles started JJ...who didnt have better backups. Hell, our own fricking backups were better.
But their backups OR starters couldn't touch Mett....ok, maybe one
