JD just can't make himself throw a receiver open. He has to wait until the receiver is wide open and that is why the pass patterns are 40 hitches a game. That is why our receivers either fall down or are immediately tackled because they literally never catch the ball on the move....like bama and others do. We have talented receivers but our passing coordinator will not allow them to run slants or even go patterns because JD simple is so inaccurate in his throwing. Long passes he throws OOB...the receivers have no chance at all. He doesn't want to throw int 10 or give his receivers a chance on 50/50 balls. While he is a talented runner, he is lacking so much, even after much patience, in reading the field and throwing catchable passes other than simple hitch patterns under yards. He is probably the best overall qb we have, but I would be he is the worst thrower we have also.

I know the Tigers will be a big underdog v Georgia, but LSU can be pretty formidable when they're playing to their capacity. There's reason to believe Kelly and the Tigers may be more motivated on Saturday, particularly after the Aggy fiasco.

Still a fantastic athlete and smart QB that can win games for us. But his self-imposed limitations will always be a crutch as long as he is here.

So you are saying that there is no way in heaven or hell that he can improved on his "self-imposed limitations?" You are kinda dumb sounding.

I have seen improvement from Daniel's but he is still scared to throw to one on one receivers and let them make plays. When he has the receivers has made good plays on 50/50 through the season. So why not keep doing it? I don't get it!!! Teams score points because they take those risks!

Another thing is he has been a started damn it for 4 years. Training wheels should have came off in 2rd and for sure by 3rd year. I really hope he does next year just explode, but seems very unlikely if he hasn't learned by now.

That's great he did all them great throws, but he didn't evenbtry to do it in this game. Sometimes I counted him having 4 or 5 seconds in that game to throw it and never would! shite atleast if your not going to throw it run!! There was green in front on many of them chances as well.

Jesus!! Stop comparing JD to freaking Burrow. Burrow only played two years as a starter!! JD is going on 5 years as a starter. There is no comparison at all there. Could you imagine what the numbers would of been if Borrow was a 5 year starter. Stupid arse comparison!

Jayden has the intangible Rohan/Burrow qualities of a leader. The team definitely responds to him and is more than willing to go to battle with him.

That being said, his skill set is not Burrow but much more like Hurts. Which is more than fine but LSU just needs to focus on what Jayden does well and not try to make him be something that he is not.

Not one 50-50 jump ball to Brian Thomas who would catch 100-100 over their DB. Just give him a chance.

And use the middle of the field

You’ll never find a coach that publicly admonishes another coach or player.

I hope the future for Daniels is either elsewhere or he goes pro so we can see what Howard can do.

lacks the confidence

Daniels has every physical ability. THIS is what he lacks.

A real competitor says,”FU I am gonna…..”. Daniels says, “be careful the defense might….”

I am not bashing him at all. We all have our weaknesses. He just happens to be on tv so we all have an opinion of him. He is what he is. I will cheer for him as long as he is wearing that jersey.

He’s said he’s talked to coaches around the league and they rave about the spread and strength of Jayden. Also comments on his ability to pass from the pocket. It amazes me that everyone outside of our fanbase is blown away by Jayden.
We damn near swept the entire SEC west with this guy. Can’t believe how the rant has turned on him.

Hopefully this is just a replay of 2018-19. Burrow played well in 18 but put all of the pieces together in 19 and was undefendable. If Daniels/Denbrock can work on the extreme spread this off season we can get back to that. In 19 when we got into 3rd down and medium or long it was quite common to come out in 5 wide and make the defense decide if it was going to rush or play pass defense. The key to this is JD getting better in presnap reads and pass protection.

1. Jayden Daniels came from a less talented and under coached dumpster fire at ASU.

2. He learned a new team and offensive system on the fly in the toughest division in the toughest league in college football.

3. He beat out the incumbents in Brennan and Nuss.

4. In reference to #2 he helped his team win the division and will be playing for the SEC crown.

5. He is a true junior and hasn't taken a redshirt which is a compliment to his abilities and football IQ.

6. SEC coaches respect and fear him.

7. No one has been better since Joe Burrow. Max Johnson was serviceable at best and wouldn't have gotten LSU this far.

8. If he goes to aTm instead of LSU, they are most likely undefeated and playing in our place this weekend.

9. He is not a WR or any other position, he is and will be a next level QB, like it or not.

10. If he comes back and the offensive play calling compliments his abilities and the surrounding cast strengths, he is in the Hiesman discussion next year without question.

11. LSU fans (both alumni and T-shirt fans) are blindly biased and undereducated in more than just football and I think Ricky Jefferson addressed this in the past on social media among others who have donned the LSU uniform. But everyone is entitled to their opinions and dare I say ignorance.

12. Kirby (no pun) Smart is a successful coach who knows football and I think he knows a bigtime QB when he sees one as well as the other SEC coaches who have raved about Jayden.

13. And since we are being honest here, most SEC fan bases to include LSU have a disparity in fan support based on demographic and economic facts. This would explain your downvotes and critisms when it comes to certain players and this is not a monolithic view, just an observation on selective facts/truths.

60.10% White
18.20% Hispanic
12.20% Black/African American
5.60% Asian
0.60% Native

So complain all you want, downvote all you want and be ignorant all you want, Jayden Daniel is great human being and oh yeah a helluva QB. He will be drafted on his potential and his play, not LSU fans skewed opinions. That is all.

JD needs to lose his but cut afro. Then maybe he can become a leader, and maybe become a decent passer. Winners can pocket pass, not scramble all day
