I don't think he hates LSU as much as he's a man who has long realized he's in an antiquated profession with a job that has ever decreasing market value since, essentially, anyone with a social media account can publish information. Why do I need to wait for a news paper column when I can go on youtube and find dozens of videos discussing LSU sports or look on twitter to find dozens of "journalist" discussing the same thing.
Guilbeau is smart enough to know that. The only way to remain relevant and earn a living is to create views/clicks of his product. So he's taken the "hot take" "controversial take" approach in order to do so. He doesn't give a shite if you agree with him or not. Nor does he care when all of you bozos send him "hate" emails. In fact, he WANTS that because then he'll know people are viewing his work.
Publishers/writers don't really give a damn if the viewers don't like the work...as long at is generating interest. Even negative interest.
