It really is amazing that we have to deal with such a shitty media base. How has Guilbeau held onto his job as long as he has?

He's got a point.

Benford is about as qualified as Orgeron was.

Why you mad at the fans?
They overwhelmingly want Will Wade

Our fans just in general are fricking morons.

But I have also seen several threads about hiring Benford because we played better under him than Wade.

That is mind-numbingly dumb.

Bedford is literally the basketball counterpart of Oeaux. A complete lack of success at his only full time coaching stint.

If Benford is chosen to become LSU's full time coach, look for the Tigers to be playing on Wednesday night in the SEC tourney for a long, long time to come.

I’m tired of hiring all of our coaches from within the university. Head football coach, offensive coordinator, and assistant baseball coaches. Under Allevas leadership, that’s all we fricking do

GG lives in my neighborhood. You guys won’t believe this but guess who lives about 3 houses down from him...

The Rant’s beloved Bo Bahnsen.

That’s right, sports fans. No and GG are neighbors. I’m not close enough to know how friendly they are. But it is quite interesting.

I hate to say it, but that’s probably the truth. My gosh.... I can’t believe we’re even talking about this as a possibility.

Sadly, given Alleva's track record, it's a very real possibility if Wade is fired. It checks all of Alleva's boxes...

cheap hire....check
safe hire....check
easy hire....check

I wouldn't be surprised if the deal is already in the works and Alleva doesn't even attempt to find someone else.

Doesn't that sound very similar to a coaching search of the past at LSU?

It does. And it's pathetic.

I was on the team of the outraged when the "I am the search" process was implemented. I'm not even an O hater and wasn't an O hater when the Les Miles replacement process was happening. I though he should receive a fair and thoughtful hearing. I just disagreed with how Alleva conducted the process. Hopefully O continues to do well and is very successful but if O continues to grow in success it is not a reflection of Alleva's leadership abilities. It's just luck. It happens.

Has Benford run a previous program into the ground?

If not, he is DQ'ed from consideration.

I'm not for Benford either, but who are we going to hire?

No one is going to want to work for KA and JA except desperate people.

No one is going to want to come knowing they will have both hands behind their back in recruiting while our opponents will have business as usual.

We just put ourselves on probation.
