And nothing changes. Do yall think Baton Rouge loses power? If we do, besides a battery powered radio, what's your contingency plan to watch football on Saturday?

Too early, but I do not think BR will be without power to a GREAT %. It is a fast moving storm .

BR is 80% likely to have sustained tropical storm force winds. There will be some outages, maybe not widespread though.

I have AT&T Fiber. Plug my modem and TV into the generator. Sit on the back porch and watch some ball.

My contingency plan is to let all the food my fridge go bad while I hook up my TV to the generator.

Accuweather has BR at tropical storm force or higher for 12 hours; Two to three hours near cat 1. I'd say we will have massive outages.

I don't believe that at all. Unless it turns east I think we'll see some 50-60mph gusts with like 40 sustained. But I really don't think hurricane force winds at any point.

FWIW, My worksite is 9.8 mi due south of TS and our site specific forecast has us getting Trop St force wind (at approx 40 mph) for about 8-9 hrs potential gusts to the low 60s trough Fri night and gone by dawn Sat morn.

That sounds right from looking at the latest models. Of course a 30 mile shift east and it could be higher
