Just for a change of pace and see what this kid can do with the bright lights on him

They’ve made it clear they will not, no matter how abysmal this offense looks.

Give him keys. Too talented on offense to have frick face eye black wearing scared #18 continually handcuff it.

2 week’s ago I would have said this is a dumb suggestion. But it’s abundantly clear (a) Sloan/BK aren’t going to change their ineffective approach and (b) the approach is not going to be very successful with Nuss at QB. So if you aren’t going to change the approach, the only other option is to change the personnel.

Otherwise, we will see a repeat performance all the way to the Music City Bowl

Either Nuss is hurt or he is playing exceptionally poorly.

Both are reasons to give MVB snaps.

Should have happened this week.
Our coaches are morons.

Why? So he can get pressured every play, and still have no running game?

The head coach says his starting QB is not hurt which means he is just playing poorly. The head coach has decided to stick with the poor playing starting QB.

Give him the entire SC game. Declare Nuss is injured. Then bring him back for the rest of the season, after we play awful offense against SC, win or lose. It is 90% the oline and offense design, play calling.
No qb can throw into 8 defensive backs/lbs with 3 man rush giving him no time. I'll say it again....no QB can do that at any level.

Maybe so but some run the ball for gained yardage when that happens. In fact we had a couple who did that really well.

Saban had no problem had yanking # 1 and putting in #2 QB. Don't you think the team sees the same thing we are seeing with Nuss. Like Miss Terry told Nick when he came to LSU, put your big boy pants on and get to work. Kelly is a winey bitch and doesn't own a pair of big boy pants. I don't think the team respects him and thus do not play "complimentary" football. WTF?! Sounds like something a badminton coach would say. Cannot connect with the brothers with "complimentary" talk.

This year is lost. Nuss is not the answer. He makes too many poor decisions besides just poor throws in general.

Not what winning coaches do.

He is at least willing to run when the pocket breaks down and there are 20 yards of grass in front of him.

Also, not sure what’s wrong with Nuss’ arm, but I have a hard time believing that RIGHT NOW, VB isn’t a better thrower.

Do I think MVB is the messiah? No.

Do I think MVB will make this offense look at least a little better & give the defense something else to account for — potentially mitigating the enormous deficiency across the OL (especially compared to Nuss who has the worst pocket presence I’ve seen in a long time)? Yes.

Do I think there is a non-0 chance we win that game if MVB gets 2 drives in the second half? Also yes.

I said this last week and got crucified. The offense needs a change of pace to at least attempt to get a spark
