Guice didnt even start against USM. Williams did.

I want to see us use both Fournette in Guice in the same backfield for once.
Put them in a shotgun set togeather and make the Defense make a play.

Guice has been more effective this season. IMHO.
1. Fournette has been injured
2. Fournette gets more attention when he's in the backfield
3. Fournette was starting mostly under Miles, while Guice has had 2 games with the new/improved offense
LF is the better college running back, see last season's historic SEC numbers for all you need on that. I'd go as far as saying if the offense doesn't look as good with LF in there, it's on the coaching for not running the offense correctly because he is the better back.
But don't get me wrong, I love me some Guice. And if both are healthy, I'm not a fan of the 30 carries for LF and 3 for Guice look, I'd still like to see it at least a bit more balanced to keep both fresh for a game and a season.

I like it esp bc either could be split our wide as receiver.

They'll both play. Doesn't really matter who starts.

opening drive, split backfield Guice and LF
Problem solved.

He has earned it. When they are good and tired, bring in Fournette
Huh-uh. Leonard is our star back. Period.
Guice will have that role/honor next year.
Saying that, I expect them to ease Leonard back into the flow this week - 15 touches max.
No contact for several weeks is horrible for a RB.

I'm excited to see the new offense with both backs.

It doesn't matter who starts. What matters is how we use the pass. Do whatever we can to mix it up and keep Ole Piss on their toes cuz they don't know what we are going to throw at them next. If that means Fournette in there as a decoy or the final pass option, then so be it.
Would love to see Guice and Fournette both in to start with a pass to a Tight End as our first play.

If LF7 is healthy, LSU has a 3 headed monster in the back field now, 4 including Williams.

They question is who gives us a better chance to win?
Fournette. Guice has some great skill but Fournette is who I want getting the bulk of the carries.

I try not to make critical post like this, but just cut your losses and stop. Really. Guice has been great. Next year, with LF certainly gone, the spotlight will be his. HOWEVER, if Fournette is healthy, and doesn't start, whoever made that decision needs to join CLM at home watching on TV.

If he had only missed a week I would agree with you but after being on the shelf for 4 weeks, I don't see the coaching staff giving him the bulk of the caries.

I'm unconvinced for two reasons:
1. Fournette probably isn't 100%.
2. The offense has a nice rhythm right now.
It's about yards and points. I don't care who the objectively better player is in a vacuum. Do what works, score points, win the game.

I agree we need to pass 50% of the time Fournette is in the game. Excited to see what he can do against an honest defense.

One leg, and basically one hand tied behind his back (Les's offense)
