there is a transition period there for a new coach.
Orgeron inherited LSU, a program with tremendous resources and tons of talent. A team he was already coaching on.
If damn near 40 games isn't enough transition period, then maybe O needs a new fricking job.
LSU won 9 regular season games this year. This is in no way an improvement upon what the program has been over the last several years.

tons of talent...except at QB, OL, DL, WR or LB.
Yea, LSU had good players that would make Arkansas jealous... but talent and depth like LSU had when they were churning?

2013
Les Miles led LSU losses to an 8-5 Ole Miss
2014
L 29-34 Miss St at home
L 7 -41 Auburn
L 0-17 ARK
2015
L 14-31 ARK at home
L 17-38 Ole Miss
What fricking planet are you on right now?

I'll bet you're as miserable IRL as you are here

I’d rather him than Miles.
O did in five games what Les never did in eleven years. Lose to a SBC program. O did in his second game against Texas A&M what Les never did...lose. You have to be nuts to rather have a coach whose claim to fame is a 10-3, 5-3 team rather than two time NCG coach, but then you are a hater.

You're 2x NCG coach

Yeah, Les loss some games. so fricking what? He also won west titles, SEC titles, went to two NCGs, and won one. Your boy O hasn't won shite. He's embarrassed LSU with the Troy loss, the worse loss in Mississippi State series history, and 39-0 against Alabama in Baton Rouge. No one in their right mind wanted O over Les in 2016, but that's what you haters do.

Do you have any other insights besides calling people miserable?

But you cry when people mention Troy. It's unfair!!
Posted on 1/3/19 at 8:44 pm to Goldrush25
I dont cry. It's the first red flag in my O folder. LSU should never lose to Troy. You have my mistaken with someone else.
Posted on 1/3/19 at 8:49 pm to DALSU
Agreed. 11-1 was right there. With more attention to detail on the field and on the sideline, we're comin!!!!
Posted on 1/3/19 at 8:53 pm to Lester Earl
LSU's loss to Troy was on the players. Sorry but it is true.
Posted on 1/3/19 at 8:54 pm to omegaman66
Yea, for the most part. Still, O is responsible.

DL, and what round?
Ed was hired in 2015 as dline coach, it's 2019.
Brick Haley was able to bring in productive NFL players that were drafted high. Ed has yet to do that.

In my O folder.
I wonder if o knows Lester has an o folder?
And it has a red flag in it.
That's pretty fricking funny Lester.

C'mon, earl. I think your better than that. Both side of this ridiculous argument want the other side to admit fault and/or blame against the side that they're defending. If we are just going to laugh when someone does that, we are never gonna have any good discussions here.
That's just my unsolicited two cents. At some point we are gonna have to start respecting when people give an opinion opposite of what you think about them.
Eta: I only decided to say that to you, earl because I feel like you can be reasonable with me.

Been saying for a long time that I'm under this delusion that we can all have meaningful and decent conversations, Mr. H. That's what I signed up for way back when. Somewhere in the past 13 years we've lost our way in that regard.
