Again, one coach has skins on the wall for LSU and the other loss to Troy, got raped by Mississippi State, and has scored one fricking TD against Alabama in three games. You have to be brain dead to pick O or a hater.

This has become boring and I hear your mom calling you.

But you want the guy no other NCAA school wanted to hire. Don’t they know he won the west 10 years ago? Shame on them

Coach O just produced the best season by an LSU team in years including several tries by Miles.

Most people would take him over Miles right now.

Miles left this team with no direction at QB. O has upgraded the QB position and is working hard to fill the areas of need.

No one should feel this season was horrible but we were 1 loss against a mid major from having 4 lossed again and having a worse offense.

This is the kind of stuff that has to stop.

1 loss against a mid-major? WTH are you talking about? We did not lose whatever game you're talking about.

Why can't you go the other way with it? We were one stupid early whistle away from being 11-2, which is actually what we were. If the ref at A&M calls the fumble correctly and doesn't blow his whistle then game over. We're 11-2.

Playing the "what if" game to run down the team is stupid.

Ricky isn't your definition of a great season 10 wins?

No thats you. I say 10 wins is the floor.

Correct.

Youre the one that dismissed final rankings and 10 wins seasons as meaningless for the last decade.

That's using your logic, Cletus. 5 minutes of being one TD down in a 21 point loss in which we started off down 24 isn't a competitive game.

Starting the game and the end of the 3rd quarter isnt the same. You start the game close.

We had 2 overall losses and were not 3 games back from winning the west.

Losing to bama
Losing to multiple inferior teams every year
Having a horrid offensive scheme that limits our offensive talent.

Yeah i can see how youd think O isnt making the same mistakes.

You have as much a right to voice your opinion as anyone else on here. And for what it's worth, I respect your opinion and enjoy reading your posts and 90% of the time I agree with you and the things you post.

I only did that to Lester Earl's post because for some reason or another, he has it in his head that he's the smartest guy on the rant and we all wait with bated breath to see what words of wisdom he'll share with us in his next post.

Is this Miles or Orgeron? Last time I checked Orgeron was coaching defensive lines before LSU and hadn't gotten so much as a coordinator offer since Ole Miss. Yet, there were plenty of people who wanted him hired.

tons of talent...except at QB, OL, DL, WR or LB.

It's amazing how this list keeps growing. The defense that finished 2016 as a top 10 unit in the country was devoid of talent at 2 levels. That Dave Aranda must be some sort of miracle worker, huh?

If they weren't in 2016 or 2017, they weren't this year either. Lester's claim, not mine.

It's pretty incredible what the staff has done with a roster full of scrubs, isn't it? Man, we're one lucky fanbase.

I fall short of saying he did a great job. At the end of the day, O is a mid level coach on a team with a boat load of talent and a lot of recruiting potential. He did some really good things, and some really bone headed things during the year. I don't think he's our guy if we have aspirations for the SEC championship or the playoffs. Sorry pumpers.

If you look at some of the other hires this year (Mullen and FL, Jimbo at aTm, Herman at UT) I think these finished in a better position than they started with far less talent than LSU. These are teams on a positive trajectory, not LSU. We will be a perennial 8 or 9 regular season win team until something different happens.

Which part don’t you agree with?

Wut. No one is talking about 2016. This is much more about the talent bridge going into the most recent years under O, that lacked depth & top end talent LSU is accustomed to at those positions.

Miracle worker is a little dramatic. Hes had guys that would start at most 2nd tier SEC schools. He hasn’t quite had the dogs to meet the insane expectations by people like you but that is changing.

He is Great coach who has a great scheme, yes. Ain’t no doubt about that
