How difficult is it to get back to the I-10/I-12 split area post game? I’m having to make some very late arrangements for a game and trying to figure out if it is worth it to save the money and stay a little further away. I’ve always been very close to campus when traveling in for games.

Depends where you’re coming from. If coming from River Rd side it can be a challenge. If you park on the lakes side of campus, you could get to the split in 15-20 minutes

Once you’re past the lakes, it’s a breeze. College drive hotels are packed on gamedays.

Park somewhere where you can get to Stanford quickly & it’s a piece of cake. I’ve also gone the other side of lakes & cut through neighborhoods to get to Perkins, a bit more traffic

Thanks. I figured once I got to the interstate it would be easy, I’ve just never personally had to do it.

Park in the vicinity of the Ag Center and you will be on the Interstate in 10 min after you reach your vehicle. Just need to get there early enough to get parking in that area.

You can also do highland to kenilworth to Perkins to Essen. Traffic backs up pretty bad at highland and starring, hence the kenilworth shortcut. Then you can get to either 10 or 12 and avoid the split.

It will be pretty slow until Lee on highland but will pick up drastically after Lee.

We take that route from Touchdown Village every game to get to 10. We’ve done the rest as tests over the years and it’s not always the fastest, but it is consistently the fastest overall.

We’re going from TDV to the Highland exit on 10.
